Luxury Accommodations On Disney Property Your Family Will Love

Copper Creek Cabins

Walt Disney World Resort is head and shoulders above the rest in every category imaginable. From theme park fun and attractions to a host of many other amazing things that come with a stay on resort property grounds, vacationing at Disney World is undeniably the best decision you can ever make for your family. And while every accommodation is magical, the varied possibilities Disney presents cover a diverse range of themes, amenities, and other specifics to cater to any family’s unique needs.

Whether you are traveling as a quiet party of two or bringing along an extended menagerie of kids and relatives may play an important role in your final choice for the kind of accommodation you select. But sometimes size, room number, and other inclusive features aren’t the only deciding factors. Sometimes you just want to splurge on a luxury vacation experience to make what’s already seemingly perfect even more so. Here’s a look at some of the luxury accommodations on Disney property your family will love!

5. Cascade Cabins

Wiilderness Lodge Villas

As a Deluxe Resort option located within the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge offers up plenty of accommodation options to suit any party’s needs. Ranging from standard studio-sized rooms to spacious Disney Vacation Club suites, the offerings are vast and as seemingly boundless as the uncharted Northwest stretches of olden days, which the resort is themed around.

Surrounded by bucolic beauty, this place emanates a quiet faraway retreat-like essence that allows vacationers to momentarily forget they’re one of the closest resort properties to one of Disney’s most popular parks—the Magic Kingdom. Yet being so close to the magic proves to be convenient all the same as do the host of onsite amenities to enjoy, which include pools and other recreations, a full-service health club, delightful dining, and so much more.

If you decide to go the extra mile in picking a luxurious accommodation like no other, then you can’t go wrong with Copper Creek’s Cascade Cabins. There are currently 26 of these stand-alone private cabins to choose from, all overlooking the waterfront beauty and bounty of the surrounding resort grounds. Furthermore, each cabin sports a wraparound screened-in porch with a built-in hot tub. Groups of up to eight can be comfortably provided for amidst the two-bedrooms and sleeping accompaniments offered by a king and queen bed, queen-size sleeper sofa, single pull-down bed, and twin sleeper chair.

Two full bathrooms also provide convenience along with the many other roomy accompaniments, including a fully equipped kitchen, in-home washer/dryer, and even a double-sided stone-hearth fireplace. And as is always the case with any accommodation by Disney, all those very vital home away-from-home essentials are also part of the package, like Internet and television.

4. Bora Bora Bungalows

Affectionately known as “the Poly” by its oldest and most nostalgic fans, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has undergone many changes and developments through the years. That’s perfectly understandable considering it holds the title for being the very first on-property Walt Disney World Resort along with Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Located within the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, the Polynesian brings the tropical island fusion flare of the South Seas to sunny central Florida in a perfect pairing and ideal location to all the action.

The resort stands overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon within the perfect vantage point of Cinderella Castle in the distance. And being located along the ongoing Resort Monorail Line is an added bonus to staying here, with alternate travel options that include daylong ferryboats across the water and complimentary shuttle services to take you to Disney’s other theme parks and areas of attraction.

While you’ll find plenty of accommodation options and styles to choose from at the Polynesian, in getting back to the idea of stand-alone waterfront dwellings posed previously, you may be enticed to opt for one of the resort’s newest additions—the Bora Bora Bungalows. Comprising of a grand total of 20, these independent two-bedroom dwellings are an island lover’s dream come true—incorporating the mystical and exotic ambiance of a private getaway without straying from the convenient realms of Disney magic. And when we say “waterfront” we mean it in the most literal sense, as these bungalows truly stand bordering the water and can only be reached via crossing an adjoining mainland bridge.

Able to comfortably sleep up to eight guests, each unit comes with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully furnished and equipped kitchen, televisions (including a unique bathroom mirror television), washer/dryer combo, and plenty more. Sleeping arrangements consist of one king and queen-size bed, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and two single pull-down beds.  All other essentials you’ve come to expect are also included, and then some. One other enticing amenity worth noting is that each bungalow comes with its own private deck, complete with its very own plunge pool. All decks offer spectacular views of the Castle fireworks as well as the nightly Electrical Water Pageant. And with accompanying speakers installed at each location, you won’t miss a sound to any of the surrounding festivities.

3. Treehouse Villas

Treehouse at Saratoga Springs

Most loyal Disney vacationers are familiar with the concept of resort villas to some extent, even if they themselves have never actively opted for selecting such accommodations. What’s more, many Deluxe Resorts do feature these spacious home-away-from-home options onsite, making such designations “Deluxe Villa Resorts” really. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a perfect example. Originally established as a Disney Vacation Club Member exclusive, do take note that now you do not have to be a DVC member to reap the benefits of a stay here, as long as there is availability.

Yet the standards for what traditionally defines a resort villa don’t always follow a cookie cutter model. This is best demonstrated by the example presented in the Treehouse Villas here. Totaling 60 such dwellings in all, these stand-alone woodland-based accommodations live up to their reputation for being tree house-like, as evidenced by their off-the-ground elevations, via 10-foot stilts. But unlike the typical backyard tree house you may remember from your backyard in childhood, these accommodations are far too luxurious to be held to such primitive standards.

A total of nine guests can be comfortably accommodated for in each unit, which features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully furnished and equipped kitchen, onsite washer/dryer, and living quarters in addition. Sleeping arrangements include two queen beds in the master and second bedrooms, bunk bed setup in the third room, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a twin-size sleeper chair. And as is the case with all Disney accommodations, you’re never without all the home-away-from-home essentials, including television, Internet, and other comforts.
