Disney Reveals Nightmarish New, Exclusive Popcorn Bucket!

It may only be the middle of August, but Halloween is already in the air at Walt Disney World Resort. The pumpkins are carved, the characters are wearing their seasonal best, and the villains have come out to play. One of the most exciting things to do while visiting Disney World during the Halloween season is to attend the hard-ticketed event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Disney doesn’t do anything small, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is no exception. The event began on August 11 and will take place several nights per week through the end of October in Magic Kingdom Park. During the event, Guests can dress in their favorite Halloween costumes, trick-or-treat throughout the lands, watch the Sanderson Sisters put on a show during the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, watch the nighttime sky come alive during the Not-So-Spooky Fireworks Spectacular, and so much more.

In addition to all the fun events at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, there are a variety of specialty foods, drinks, and merchandise that Guests can only purchase at the party. Typically, the merchandise comes in the form of shirts, spirit jerseys, tumblers, and the like. However, this year, Disney decided to go all out and release a brand-new popcorn bucket!

Guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary will have the chance to purchase a Nightmare Before Christmas popcorn bucket featuring the Mayor’s car.

Disney World Popcorn Buckets

Popcorn buckets are rapidly becoming one of the most must-have souvenirs among Walt Disney World Resort Guests. In recent years, Guests have been willing to stand in line for hours just to get their hands on the newest bucket. Most notably, Guests visiting EPCOT during the 2022 Festival of the Arts waited nearly 5 hours just to be able to purchase the Figment popcorn bucket. Crowds were so insane that, when the bucket returned after quickly selling out, Guests had to mobile order them, so Disney could manage the crowds.

This year, Walt Disney World has released a number of exciting popcorn buckets at the theme parks. This includes Cinderella’s Carriage at the Magic Kingdom, a Pumbaa popcorn bucket at Animal Kingdom (along with a Timon sipper), and a Mickey Mouse Perfect Picnic bucket at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

During the holidays, Disney has also released a Mickey Mummy popcorn bucket, and multiple Christmas buckets, including one featuring your favorite characters from Toy Story.
