Our Favorite Shopping Experiences At Disney World Resort Hotels

Grand Floridian Shopping

Each and every Walt Disney World hotel property boasts at least one gift shop right onsite of that resort’s main hall or building. From everyday essentials, to more unique trinkets and souvenirs, on-location one-stop shops make it both easy and convenient to find just what you need, when you need it. In taking a close look into the numerous resident resort shops and specialty stores, we’ve compiled this list of some of our favorite shopping experiences to be had right on the grounds at various Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

9. Grand shopping at the Grand Floridian

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a renowned favorite amongst the Deluxe Resort accommodations within Walt Disney World. And with so much to see, do, and explore right on the grounds here, it should come as no surprise to learn that it is also home to some really nice specialty shops as well. While there is of course the usual resident gift shop featured at all Disney hotels, this resort also boasts a few higher-end picks that alone attract visitors—even those who aren’t staying at this particular resort per se.

Basin White

--Basin White: That’s right, Disney’s own Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is home to its very own retailer in this popular company, renowned for vending in all-natural luxury bath and body products. Discover a wide range of custom chemical-free products, from bath bombs, specialty soaps, fragrances, lotions, body butters—the list goes on. It’s high-end beauty and body care at its finest, and it can be found right onsite!

Grand Floridian Shopping

--Curiouser Clothiers: Get ready for high-end fashions and Disney-inspired designer clothing at this upscale boutique. In addition to glamorous garb and other goods, you’ll find premium souvenirs and even classic character merchandise goods, products, and accessories, of course.

--M. Mouse Mercantile: Another great stop for apparel, accessories, and Disney goods galore, this other boutique shop on location at the Grand Floridian truly delivers in all things mouse and more. Ultimate Disney fans will find it all here, from plush to pins, toys to jewelry—and everything else your heart desires.

--Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique: This resort is also home to the newest location for the much-loved Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique. A longtime tradition for children over the years, this is the place where dreams come true for young vacationers between the ages of 3 to 12 as they are granted the once in a lifetime opportunity to become fair princesses or dashing knights. Transformations are performed onsite by Fairy Godmothers-in-Training, via all-out makeovers in hair, makeup, and wardrobe. Additional accessories are also available for purchase from within the boutique, including excellent finds for those who don’t exactly fall into the age-specified categories for the makeover packages.

8. Classy classics at the Contemporary

While Disney’s Contemporary Resort boasts a total of three retail locations on the spot, one of our favorite picks that we feel stands out from the norm is Bayview Gifts. Housed directly next door to Fantasia—the resort-specific gift shop, Bayview Gifts takes on more of a refined, upscale approach to what the overall hotel shopping experience entails. Here you’ll find a vast inventory that sports such unique offerings as fashionable clothing for men and women, jewelry, watches, and myriad other trinkets and accessories, as well as collectible figurines and even Disney-inspired artwork.

Moana Mercantile

7. Polynesian pleasures

At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort you’ll discover an array of fabulous finds. While Moana’s Mercantile, located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House, is a popular stop for those embarking and disembarking from the Monorail, if you just head on down to the lower level, you’ll find BouTiki. Where Moana’s Mercantile is more along the lines of the standard store wares you’ll find at most Disney Resorts, BoutTiki offers an abundance of one-of-a-kind souvenirs and resort-specific/Hawaiian island-specific goods and products. Some of the more unique items in the inventory here include authentic Hawaiian clothing and apparel, swimwear and accessories, authentic home goods, artwork, and so much more—even ukuleles!
