It’s been a few years now since the Disney Genie+, Lightning Lane, and Individual Lightning Lane combination replaced Fast Pass; but Guests are no more happy with it now than they were before—in fact, over the years, its become more and more apparent that Guests would rather see the return of the free FastPass system.

However, it appears more than steadfast, devoted Disney fans are frustrated with the Disney service. British rapper Aitch also took to social media to share his irritation with the product. Harrison James Armstrong, but is known professionally through the stage name Aitch, is a rapper from Manchester. Aitch rose to fame in 2018 with the song “Straight Rhymez.”

Aitch was recently at Disneyland in Anaheim, Southern California, and he expressed in no certain terms that the Disney Park “was the worst place I’ve been in my life,” advising people to not go there.

The rapper elaborated, “We got there, we went on one ride, and we left. I can’t even begin to explain how sh*t it is. Normally, I’m not a negative person… But wow.”

The source of all his troubles? The ever-controversial Disney Genie suite.

Aitch shared, “We paid money to get on the fast track, I mean skip all the lines, [we] f**king got to the lines, and the fast track was only available at certain times.” Aitch was so frustrated he even recalled the American accent with which the Cast Member spoke with as he continued and explained the situation, “So we was there at 11:00… they’re like, ‘Sorry, sir, the fast track isn’t available until 8:30.’ F**k you.”

There were certainly no doubts remaining about how this Guest felt about Disney Genie, though more than anything, this appears to be a simple misunderstanding of the product and service. However, it does bear mentioning he isn’t the only fan to ever express this frustration with Disney Genie+. Surely by now, one can hope that Disney will be working to alleviate Guest complaints.

Disney has recently announced that they have “heard from fans” about ways to better Guest experience with the app, but it remains to be seen what these changes will actually look like.
