Disney World Announces Groundbreaking Reservation-Free Days For Certain Guests

happy disney guests and a happy cast member

If you’re a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder or you work for Disney World as a Cast Member, then you’re about to be very, very happy!

According to journalist Scott Gustin, “Disney is introducing ‘good-to-go’ days for APs and CMs…Disney will offer ‘select days’ that will not need a park reservation at all. The days will be rolled out on an ongoing basis.”

Disney fans were already happy about the “2 p.m.” news that was recently shared, but learning that Disney will start offering completely reservation-free days for Annual Passholders and Cast Members is huge news!

When Can We Expect This Bonus?

This new perk will come into effect for Annual Passholders and Cast Members starting in the year 2024, so these Disney VIPs have to wait for a while before they can start heading to Disney Parks such as the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom without making any theme park reservations of any kind.

However, this perk will no doubt be worth the wait in the minds of many hardcore Disney fans who fit into either of those two categories (and who find Disney’s reservation system and services like Genie+ to be overwhelming).

This news might also go a long way towards soothing tensions between Walt Disney World Resort and its Cast Members after a lengthy wage dispute.

More Changes Ahead For Disney Guests

Disney has also just announced several other big changes, such as the very highly-anticipated return of the Disney Dining Program and changes to the Genie+ service (which is an add-on to the Disney Genie service that has rankled many Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort Guests ever since it replaced the FastPass system)!

Are you an Annual Passholder or Disney employee (i.e. Cast Member) who will be eligible for these “good-to-go” Disney vacation days, and who will be ready and waiting to take advantage of the offer in 2024?
