Disney has issued an official statement regarding the hacking of Disneyland’s Instagram and Facebook accounts.
We at Disney Fanatic shared the news that Disneyland’s Instagram was compromised in the early hours of Thursday, July 7. A hacker repeatedly posted photos and shared “stories” with racist and homophobic statements for around 45 minutes to the Theme Park’s 8.4 million followers before the entire page was momentarily taken down and reemerged with all of the hacker’s work removed.

The hacker identified himself as a “super hacker” named David Do.
Now, Disney released a statement on the matter, confirming that both accounts were compromised.
The statement, shared on Twitter by reporter Ashley Carter (@AshleyLCarter1), reads:
“Disneyland Resort’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were compromised early this morning. We worked quickly to remove the reprehensible content, secure our accounts, and our security teams are conducting an investigation.”

None of The Disneyland Resort’s other social media accounts, such as Twitter, remained undisturbed, and the social media accounts for the Walt Disney World Resort and other Disney Parks are also seemingly safe.
It is still unclear at this time how Do was able to hack into both Disneyland’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. He declared his presence on the platform by posting a selfie and writing the following in the caption:
“My name is David DO ! I am a super hacker that is here to bring revenge upon disney land, I am F—– tired of all these n—- Dinsney employees mocking me for having a small p—. WHO’S THE TOUGH GUY NOW JEROME? GET HACKED YOU F—- F—-“
