When it comes to Disney characters, there are just so many to love. While many people have their favorite Disney character, there are so many that rank toward the top. Some people love classic characters like Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald. Others love princesses like Ariel, Tiana, and Cinderella. Sidekicks like Pascal, Pumbaa, Sven, and Olaf always bring smiles to faces. Then, of course, who could forget about those who love Disney villains like Scar, Ursula, Jafar, and Doctor Facilier? See what I mean? Too many incredible Disney characters to count!

One of Disney’s most classic and beloved characters is Minnie Mouse, the longtime love of Mickey. One of the most amazing things about Minnie Mouse is her unforgettable style. Whether she is donning her classic red and white polka dot dress or ready to take on the high seas in her Captain’s outfit for the Disney Cruise Line, Minnie’s look is always on point.

Recently, Disney Style teamed up with popular TikToker, Seann Altman, to show Disney fans how they can dress like Minnie. Disney Style is a social media brand of The Walt Disney Company that focuses on fashion, makeup, and accessories. Seann — who identifies as gender-fluid — put together an absolutely adorable outfit that honors Minnie’s timelessness.

However, because Disney’s decision to team up with Seann was not loved by everyone. In recent months, Disney has been accused of being “woke” and trying to push a “liberal agenda” on its younger audience. Disney is focusing more on creating more diverse characters, who have different types of families and different backgrounds. Many conservatives took to X — formerly known as Twitter — to attack Disney’s choice.

It is not the first time that Disney has been attacked for being accepting of those who do not fit into what is considered traditional gender roles. Earlier this year, a Disney Cast Member who worked at Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique went viral for the incredible way he interacted with Guests. However, some only focused on the fact that the Cast Member was a male who was wearing a dress and makeup. Fans quickly came to the Cast Member’s — whose name is Nick — defense and quickly shut down the trolls.

Fans and followers fell in love with Sean’s Minnie Mouse outfit, calling it perfect, and asking him to do other Disney characters. At this time, Seann has only DisneyBounded as Minnie, but if he has teamed up with Disney Style, then we will most likely see more of his incredible outfit choices!
