25 years ago, the Disney Cruise Line’s first ship — the Disney Magic — took to the seas. Since then, four more ships have been added to Disney’s fleet — the Disney Wonder, the Disney Dream, the Disney Fantasy, and, most recently, the Disney Wish. Disney cruise ships take Guests to several incredible locations, including the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Alaska. Guests who take a voyage to the Bahamas will even get to enjoy Disney’s very own private island — Castaway Cay. And next year, Disney will add a brand-new ship to its fleet — the Disney Treasure.
Disney Imagineers have shared that the Disney Treasure will honor Walt Disney’s love of exploration. The Grand Hall will be an incredible three-story atrium that will feature influences from Asia and Africa. It will also pay homage to Agrabah, from the hit Disney film, Aladdin, complete with a spectacular statue of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. The gorgeous new ship will be helmed by Captain Minnie Mouse.
This will not be any regular cruise ship, so Captain Minnie cannot be wearing any regular outfit. Disney has shared a first look at Minnie’s new outfit she will wear exclusively on the Disney Treasure.
When adventure calls, she knows just what to do — and what to wear! Watch as Captain Minnie Mouse gets ready for her next @DisneyCruise Line adventure and debuts a brand-new look, created exclusively for the Disney Treasure. Stay tuned to see what happens next …

At this time, we don’t have too many details on the Disney Treasure, but Disney has shared artists’ renderings of what the beautiful ship will look like once it is complete. Take a look below!
2024 is set to be a big year for Disney Cruise Line. Not only will the Disney Treasure set sail to stunning destinations, but Disney will begin welcoming Guests to its second private island, Lighthouse Point. Like Castaway Cay, Lighthouse Point will be located in the Bahamas. It will feature areas for both adults and children, and will have special excursions and events Disney Cruise Line travelers will remember for a lifetime. Of course, relaxing and enjoying the view is always another great option on a private island!
2024 is sure to be a big year for the Disney Cruise Line, but don’t forget about 2023. This year, Disney Cruise Line will celebrate its 25th Anniversary. The Silver Anniversary at Sea will encompass all of Disney’s cruise ships. Mickey and Minnie Mouse will wear special outfits. There will be special dining options, limited-time dance parties, and even limited-time merchandise.
