Disney’s latest Caribbean dream is inching closer to reality!
In preparation for opening its latest exclusive island destination, Lighthouse Point, Disney Cruise Line has finally announced the first bookable itineraries, as well as when the would-be Disney Cruise Line Guests can book their first visit!
The 24 Disney cruise options are not available for purchase just yet, but all itineraries and cruise dates are available for review right now on the Disney Cruise Line website. There will be a “3-Night Lighthouse Point Preview Cruise from Fort Lauderdale” onboard the Disney Magic setting sail on June 6, 2024, but the inaugural voyage to the exclusive corner of Eleuthera Island in The Bahamas will be undertaken by the Disney Fantasy and will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, on June 8, 2024. This will be a 7-night cruise featuring two stops in Lighthouse Point, one stop at Castaway Cay, and one stop in Nassau.
You Can Visit Both Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay on One Disney Cruise
It should be noted that the “7-Night Lighthouse Point Inaugural Cruise from Port Canaveral” will be only one of three Disney cruises that will visit both Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay on the voyage. The second one will be a “10-Night Southern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral,” also onboard the Disney Fantasy, departing on July 25, 2024, and the third is a “5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale” onboard the Disney Magic. Unlike the other two options, the Magic‘s itinerary is available for four different cruise dates between July 1, 2024, and August 12, 2024.

The remaining majority of cruises to Lighthouse Point will be 3-night and 4-night cruises handled by Disney Cruise Line’s original ship and will mimic the itineraries of the previous 3-night and 4-night cruises to Castaway Cay and Nassau. Prices for these magical new adventures start at $2,647 per person.

The opening of Disney’s Lighthouse Point is just one part of a massive expansion effort that includes the construction of three new cruise ships, including the Disney Treasure, and the inaugural sailings to Australia and New Zealand onboard the Disney Wonder.
