A brand new sweet shop just opened at Shanghai Disneyland! CookieAnn Bakery CafĂ© is now open on Mickey Avenue, and this adorable bakeshop is the creation of Minnie Mouse herself. The shop, owned by Minnie, is based on CookieAnn’s culinary skills and takes inspiration in its design from the friendships of Mickey, Minnie, Duffy and all of his friends that can be spotted around Shanghai Disneyland.

We love seeing Duffy and his friends around Shanghai Disney Resort, and we cannot wait to check out this adorable new bakery celebrating CookieAnn and Minnie. The two have come up with some truly delicious recipes for Guests in the park, so if you have a trip to Shanghai Disneyland on your list be sure to stop in for a sweet treat while on Mickey Avenue.

Walt Disney Imagineering Shanghai Art Director Aileen Li created the theme for the bakery’s murals that cover most of the interior walls, and the artwork was painted by Disney Imagineer Lina Barr. Laura West, another Imagineer from California (in addition to Barr) also worked on the creative direction for designing the interior look of CookieAnn Bakery Cafe.

The murals show Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, and friends picking out all of the freshest ingredients for the bakery and sampling them during a picnic. The artwork plus other interior details like the shop’s vintage oven serve to immerse Guests into the storyline of Shanghai Disneyland’s newest eatery.

Among menu items at CookieAnn Bakery Cafe, Guests can expect to find pastries, cookies, soufflé pancakes, creative milkshakes, and specialty hot beverages. The bakery will also offer Disney homeware items, souvenirs, and a handful of collectibles all inspired by Mickey, Minnie, Duffy and his friends.

We love seeing new bakeshops open at Disney parks, and have especially been enjoying all the Duffy and friends additions to Shanghai Disney Resort this year!
