It appears that an iconic World Showcase attraction will be closing for refurbishment this summer at EPCOT and will remain closed for at least the first part of the International Food & Wine Festival.

According to Walt Disney World’s website, “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” will close on June 27 and will be closed indefinitely as of right now.

The 2022 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is scheduled to begin on July 14 and continue through November 19, 2022.

The showcase of the Great White North replaced the original circle-vision show “Oh Canada!” at the Canada Pavilion and stands as a staple of the permanent international expo alongside another circle-vision show in the China Pavilion, as well as other attractions like Impressions de France, and the American Adventure.

EPCOT also features more attractions with Disney IP like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, and the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.

It should also be mentioned that the Canada Pavillion also features more than just the circle-vision show. Guests will find Le Cellier Steakhouse, which offers samples of its steak, beer cheese soup, and ice wine at a kiosk for Food and Wine, and the Étage Moulin (the Mill Stage) offers live music throughout the day.

Disney describes “Canada Far and Wide” on its website as the following:

Sweeping Scenic Views

Explore Canada in a newly updated edition of the classic, 12-minute Epcot Circle-Vision 360 presentation.
It is likely, however, that attention to World Showcase’s attractions will be somewhat thinner this summer as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind finally opens to the public at the end of May.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Park news as more information comes to light.
