Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be complicated, and it can get to a point where one might want to talk to a Cast Member for assistance. Unfortunately, would-be Disney World Guests and current Annual Passholders have reported having an incredibly difficult time getting a hold of Cast Members. But, there might be one way to ensure a Cast Member reaches out to you.

Over the course of a few weeks, we at Disney Fanatic have gone to the Walt Disney World Resort website and noticed that the Help Chat feature becomes almost immediately available when we make it appear like we are trying to make a reservation for one of the Deluxe Resort Hotels or Deluxe Villas on-property such as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or Disney’s Contemporary Resort. These Resort Hotel offerings are the most expensive on property.
I have personally begun using this method whenever I want to speak to a Cast Member regarding any aspect of Disney World instead of sending emails or waiting on hold for over an hour. Even though I appear to be searching for a hotel room, every Cast Member I have talked to has been able to answer all of my questions.

It could be speculated that this optimization system was brought about due to staffing shortages, but there is no confirmation for why the website appears to have adopted this new system. I personally recommend that all Disney Fanatics use this method in order to have the shortest amount of wait time before being connected to a Cast Member.
