Disney Actress Fired After Controversial Israel/Palestine Posts

On October 7, the world watched in horror as attacks were launched on the nation of Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Men, women, and children were seen fleeing for their lives. Horrible stories about attacks on innocent people attending a concert soon made headlines and Hamas was quickly called out for hunting Israeli civilians.

However, as with most things, many people did not see the war between Israel and Palestine as black and white, good versus evil. The internet was soon flooded with people standing with Palestine. They condemned Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu for consistently having Israeli soldiers execute Palestinian civilians. The Israeli government was also put on blast for essentially imprisoning the people who live in the Gaza Strip, since they are never allowed to leave.

Multiple celebrities have shared posts about standing with Israel, and they received a lot of backlash. And now, one Disney actor has found herself out of a job.

Voice actress Tara Strong — most well-known to Disney fans for voicing the Miss Minutes on the hit Disney+ show Loki — shared multiple posts about the ongoing conflict, standing with Israel. But a lot of people had a problem with a video she shared claiming that Jewish people were the only ones who had a legitimate claim to the land that both Israel and Palestine are built on.

All of her pro-Israel posts and comments have led to Strong losing a starring role in a new animated project called Boxtown. Strong had been featured in the series promotional content, but the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) account revealed that she was being recast.

To make things worse, the creators of Boxtown are now reportedly being sent death threats because Strong tweeted — and then deleted — a post claiming that she was fired for being Jewish.

Tara Strong is currently lying about an independent animation studio because she was fired for being blatantly islamaphobic.

She was ALREADY PAID when they removed her. And she lied saying they fired her for being Jewish. There are multiple Jewish team members currently.

Now the creator of Boxtown is being sent multiple death threats. Tara has still yet to apologize for blatantly lying about the reason she was fired. She is only doing this because they are a small company and she has power over them.

Strong was set to voice one of the main characters in Boxtown, Bill. According to Bandit Mill Animation — the studio making the show — Bill is a “squishable and earnest orphan obsessed with true crime.” She was set to star alongside Alex Hirsch, who will voice Tim in the animated series.

Neither Disney nor Marvel Studios has not yet said if they plan to recast Strong if Loki is renewed for a third season. Miss Minutes has played a larger role in the show’s second season, but was also a beloved part of season one.

Loki is not the only project that Strong has teamed up with Disney and Marvel for. Strong is a very well-known voice actor in Hollywood and also voiced the Mainframe in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. She also voiced Miss Brady and Julie in the Disney original The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. Strong also used her voice talents in more than half a dozen Marvel video games.

Many fans may also recognize Strong as the voice of Twilight Sparkle in the new My Little Pony movies and television shows.
