5. Treats with a view
The decision to watch parades and nighttime fireworks is on the to-do list of most Magic Kingdom visitors. But you can sweeten the experience even more with unique seating that comes with optimal viewing and even tasty treats. First, there’s California Garden Grill next door at Disney’s Contemporary Resort—a sky-high restaurant with stunning all-around views. If you make a dinner reservation during the time when Magic Kingdom’s nighttime spectacular starts you’ll feel like you’re right in the heart of the action, with unparalleled views and even the accompanying music playing throughout the restaurant. There’s also a great outdoor viewing perch for restaurant diners. For those who have already dined or are planning to dine here later, you may still access this exclusive outdoor viewing at the time of the event with proof of receipt or reservation. Another option that lets you enjoy premium viewing at either the Tomorrowland Terrace or Plaza Garden is the Fireworks Dessert Party Package, which comes complete with an all-inclusive dessert buffet prior to the nighttime spectacle. Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise is another great option that lets you indulge in decadent desserts aboard a cruise out in the water with views of the fireworks. Also note, for those looking for a unique way to watch the daytime Festival of Fantasy Parade there’s Tiana’s Riverboat Party—an ice cream social and viewing party featuring Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen and set along the Rivers of America.
