The idea of a “Disney Parks Bucket List” can spark the imagination of even the most casual Disney Fanatics. While the subject of this article did not mention such a thing in his video, this reporter would be willing to bet the following antics can be found on that bucket list of at least some of our readers.

TikToker Max Balegde (@max_balegde) snuck a bottle of vodka into a Disney Park and proceeded to spend hundreds of dollars on merchandise.

The British influencer initially snuck the bottle of vodka into Parc Disneyland at Disneyland Paris for a supposed extra-magical viewing of the fireworks spectacular, Illuminations.

“I don’t know if this is against the law,” he said, giggling, “but I snuck a bottle of vodka into Disney World, and I’ve just had the best time watching them fireworks.”

But it appears he did a little more than that.

The next day he posted a video showing off the trove of souvenirs he got that same night, beginning with the warning, “do not get drunk at Disneyland.”

“I’ve spent £300 on one day on Disney propaganda,” He exclaimed.

But Balegde seemed to determine that it was the shopping habit that was the problem and intended to prove that drinking his smuggled vodka could still lead to a successful Disney night. Because later that same day, he was back at Disneyland Paris with more vodka, saying,

“I’ve only gone and done it again. I sneaked in vodka in my Sprite and put it in my underwear. Mickey Mouse, if you think I want to go into your shop and buy loads of things, you’ve got another thing coming. I’ve got street smarts now, and you are not going to get past me. See you tomorrow when I’ve purchased nothing. Ha ha.”

Cue the omniscient voiceover from Morgan Freeman as one viewer called the influencer’s bluff and said, “Already waiting for the haul.”

Sure enough, the next morning, Balegde was back surrounded by Disney toys saying, “As you can see, unfortunately, I did get drunk in Disneyland again last night and walked into the world’s biggest, most glorious shop and made some bad decisions.”

He ended the video by saying overdramatically, “I now speak directly to Mickey Mouse. Dear Mickey Mouse, my legal team will be in touch. You should implement a system in which intoxicated people cannot spend hundreds of pounds in your stores. You make me sick, and I will never think that you’re a nice person again.”
On a serious note, Disney Parks have varying restrictions when it comes to alcohol consumption—Disneyland Paris serves wine in its restaurants–but bringing in one’s own booze from outside is prohibited. It is unlikely, though, that anybody would have turned him in if he was not behaving in a way that was seen as offensive, indecent, or unsafe to those around him.
We at Disney Fanatic do not condone illicit actions such as sneaking alcohol into the Parks. However, we still hope that Mr. Balegde enjoys the fruits of his misadventures. For those who want to drink at Disney legally, EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival is going on right now!
We will also continue to update our readers on Disney Parks news and stories as more developments come to light.
