Tokyo Disney Resort is known for some of the most interesting and tasty dining options of any Disney theme park around the world, and we are thrilled to share that the resort is planning to release an official cookbook on September 22, 2021.
The new cookbook will feature 62 recipes from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea with a number of fan-favorites included as well as a couple of listings by the parks’ executive chefs. Recipes will include menu items both new and old, with recipes like Seafood Crepe Gratin from Tokyo Disneyland’s 1983 opening to the Blue Bayou’s Lobster Seafood Gumbo (still offered today at the classic restaurant.)
Additional recipes include Mickey Waffles from the Great American Waffle Company along with Japanese Black Beef Sirloin Steak and Roast Duck in Burdcok and Truffle Sauce from Magellan’s a classic signature restaurant in Tokyo DisneySea.
If you have visited Tokyo Disney Resort, then you are well aware of the parks’ outstanding snack selection! The Gyoza Dog is a true fan-favorite, and we are excited to report that a recipe for it will be included in the cookbook.
In total, the recipes will come from 20 restaurants and snack kiosks in Tokyo Disneyland and 17 in Tokyo DisneySea, so whether you are looking to recreate a classic snack or full table service spread, there is sure to be something that will catch your eye in this brand new cookbook.
The book will be available for purchase at select merchandise and dining locations around Tokyo Disney Resort beginning on September 22, 2021. Unfortunately Disney has not shared plans to make it available online for Guests outside of Japan at this time, (but we can be hopeful for the future…right?!) The book comes in at ¥1650 (or about $15 USD), so if you happen to be planning a trip to Tokyo be sure to pick one up!
