9. Dinner and a safari
Dinner at Jiko—The Cooking Place is the way to go if you want to take your taste buds on a wild culinary safari of flavor. Located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort area, Jiko features a unique array of cuisine offerings, blending profuse flavors of African, Mediterranean, and Indian-inspired fare. You can even see preparations for the meals as they unfold in the open show kitchen. But this isn’t the only entertainment to behold. Now available to all Disney World guests ages 10 and older is the Wanyama Safari Dinner Package—an experience that combines the joys of Jiko dining with a private safari encompassing 46 acres of savanna. These 90-minute safari tours, which offer unique vantage point views of the Animal Kingdom Resort’s exotic resident animals, are limited to 12 guests at a time.
