1. Tom Sawyer’s Island
Take a paddle raft ride across the Magic Kingdom’s Rivers of America to Tom Sawyer’s Island. Inspired by Mark Twain’s classic stories, this hideout of untamed American wilderness allows visitors to embark on their own self-guided adventures through mine caves, across bridges, and along all different pathways. Some of the highlights to lookout for include the Tom Sawyer Scavenge Fort, Harper’s Mill, Potter’s Mill, Injun Joe’s Cave, and Fort Langhorn, named for Samuel Langhorne Clemens—the author Mark Twain’s real name.
