The hit supernatural teen television series The Vampire Diaries fostered many careers in Hollywood. Among them was Nina Dobrev, who portrayed Elna Gilbert (and Katherine Pierce).

Disneyland Resort Surprise
The actress was recently gifted a trip to Disneyland Resort by her boyfriend, Shaun White. The couple shared photos on social media of her trip that also included a group of close friends.
The couple met in 2019 and have been in a relationship since 2020.

Happiest surprise on the happiest day at the happiest place on earth,” Nina Dobrev wrote on Instagram. “Some of my closest friends surprised me on January 9th … and I have to say I am HARD to SURPRISE. I always know what’s up. But they got me good.”
Her message also included a shoutout to her significant other. “Huge thank you to my love @shaunwhite for orchestrating the whole thing! You sneaky lil devil ♥️🥰🫶🏼😍😘. Love you.”

Pictures shared by the actress on social media include one of her wearing mouse ears that say “Birthday Girl”, a tiara, and a sash that reads “It’s my birthday.”
The group of friends joining Dobrev and White included Julianne Hough, the host of Dancing with the Stars, Lauren Parsekian, Keleigh Sperry, and I Love My Dad star Claudia Sulewski.

The video shows a montage of the group of friends and her significant other surprising her on her birthday. It also shows them dancing on a party bus and enjoying a few Disneyland rides such as the Mad Tea Party.
