Who doesn’t love a good interaction with their favorite characters during their day at a Disney Theme Park?

One story posted to TikTok comes from the experience with Pixar’s Princess, Merida, where one fan showed up and clearly blew her away.

The video shows a towering, strapping man with long curly locks, leaving the Princess of DunBroch barely able to stand straight as he kisses her hand and makes her acquaintance. She asks where he was when her other three suitors came and tells her character attendants that she has found a suitor that her mum would approve of after the Guest strikes his best archery pose to “shoot for her hand” as the other suitors had to do in her film, Brave. However, when she finds out that the person filming the video was his girlfriend, she almost falls over in embarrassment. The hysterical laughing behind the camera, though, suggests there were no hard feelings.

From the borderline flirting to the backtracking embarrassment, it is impressive, at least to this writer, that this Cast Member was able to stay in character the entire time.

Walt Disney World describes Merida’s permanent character experience at Magic Kingdom Park as the following:

Welcome, Lads and Lassies!

Join Merida, Princess of DunBroch, inside Fairytale Garden. Hear tales of her passion for archery and all her very Brave adventures.
Merida is just one of several character interactions that have returned to the Magic Kingdom as well as the rest of Disney World, and even more favorite experiences will be returning soon!
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Parks news and stories as more developments come to light.
