Have you visited Walt Disney World during the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” yet? If not, Disney is inviting you to “Come Celebrate Today” in the resort’s latest commercial spot.

Take a look at the new commercial below:

The latest promotion for the 18-month 50th-anniversary celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort features the celebration’s theme song, “Magic is Calling” as the backdrop for families experiencing a variety of magical moments around the parks and resorts. (The style of this commercial is actually a little similar to this ad for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.)

The commercial is a quick and magical ad spot, but if you are still planning a Disney vacation during the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, the ad serves as a great reminder of all of the magical things taking place around the parks and resorts including…

Nighttime Spectaculars

Both Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious in EPCOT debuted on October 1, 2021, to kick off the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. The shows have been around for months now, but if you are planning your first trip in some time, the shows are new to you and you should definitely check them out!

Fantasmic! will also be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios later this year, with some newly reimagined show scenes that we are excited to check out!

The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World also saw the debut of Disney KiteTails in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a spectacle of Disney characters from The Lion King (1994) and The Jungle Book (1967) as beautiful kites soaring overhead.

In the Magic Kingdom, the Disney Adventure Friends character cavalcade was recently launched featuring more Disney characters in one event than Guests have ever seen before. And, the park’s castle stage show just returned as a reimagined “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire.”

Later this year, Guests will also see the return of a reimagined Finding Nemo: The Musical as Finding Nemo…The Big Blue Beyond at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Dining & Snacks

At the beginning of the “World’s Most Magical Celebration,” Disney shared a massive list of new snacks and entrees coming to the Walt Disney World Resort just for the 50th anniversary. The new items include everything from special edition quick-service burgers to this $137 cocktail at Disney’s Contemporary Resort , and so much in between! And, these specials can be found at each Disney Park, Disney resort, and at Disney Springs.

New offerings have continued to come out throughout the celebration, too. So even if you do not have a trip planned until early 2023, you will surely stumble upon some new and unique eats around the Walt Disney World Resort.

Lots of EARidescent Touches

EARidescent details have taken over Walt Disney World for the resort’s 50th anniversary. Whether it’s an EARidescent sparkle dressing up a special dessert option, a new Disney Visa card design, or the beautiful costumes favorite Disney characters can be spotted in, the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” is certainly eyecatching!

Cinderella Castle also received an EARidescent makeover at the start of the festivities, giving this iconic Disney park structure an even more memorable look for the occasion.

Of course, the 50th anniversary-specific events and attractions are just the beginning of what may be new since your last Disney trip: The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser opened earlier this month, and full versions of EPCOT festivals are now taking place throughout each of the park’s neighborhoods and World Showcase. Spaceship Earth has received new lighting packages as part of the Beacons of Magic and for each festival, and Disney Genie debuted offering Guests a tip board and ways to secure Lightning Lane access. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened in EPCOT in October, and the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues have taken over each Walt Disney World theme park.

More 50th-anniversary-exclusive events, entertainment, food, and more will continue to debut at Walt Disney World through April 2023, and we will keep you updated on everything related to the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” right here on Disney Fanatic.
