2. Deluxe Villa Resorts
Many of the aforementioned Deluxe Resorts also have onsite villa accommodations. In these cases, guests staying at villas also get to share in all the same added perks and amenities to be experienced throughout their sister Deluxe Resorts with a couple of added benefits that come with choosing to stay at a Disney Vacation Club designation.
The Deluxe Villas located on various Deluxe Resort properties include Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary, the Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas—Jambo House and Kidani Village, the Beach Club Villas, BoardWalk Villas, Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and the Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Two others, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney’s Old Key West Resort, are their own Disney Vacation Club exclusive properties, with the aforementioned following a theme of New York’s renowned Saratoga Springs and the latter drawing on the tropical feel of the Key West.
Villa accommodations offer a profuse range of room distinctions to choose from, starting with studios and progressing all the way up to multi-room grand villas and even suites. All villas include fully furnished kitchens or kitchenettes and other home-away-from-home comforts and furnishings. Some lodging options are actually separate dwellings entirely. The Cabins at Wilderness Lodge provide the perfect example, with fully furnished kitchens, washer/dryer, built-in hot tubs on private screened porches, and so much more. These Cabins can accommodate up to eight guests. Likewise, the newer Bora Bora Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian provide guests with private dwellings overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon and offering a wide range of amenities. These amenities include, but are not limited to: fully furnished kitchenettes, washer/dryer, private decks with plunge pools, and even in-mirror televisions.
Villas are a great suggestion for larger families and groups sharing the Walt Disney World vacation experience together. And while availability is extended to all Disney World guests, do note that as a part of the Disney Vacation Club, members of the Disney Vacation Club do have first dibs. Therefore, availability may be limited during peak season and in other events.
