Despite ranking in the category of Disney’s most affordable hotels some Value Resorts boast onsite amenities that give them superlative status even over other resorts in the Moderate and Deluxe categories. For example, Art of Animation’s Big Blue Pool currently weighs in as the largest pool at any Disney World resort, holding 308,527 gallons of water and spanning a total area of 11,859 square feet. Furthermore, the pool even has underwater speakers so you can still hear the happy sounds of music as you take the plunge below the surface. Among the Value Resorts, Pop Century is the only one to feature four-story layouts and holds more rooms than all the others, making it somewhat easier to navigate around (depending on your needs). As far as the food courts go, both Pop Century and Art of Animation have earned the reputation for being two of the best at any Value Resort and otherwise. Both feature dozens more food selections at their many operating food stations and grab-and-go sections (including specialty diet options). Spacious layouts and seating also make dining less congested and easier to maneuver through.
