When Will the ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Trailer Finally Drop?

As we approach the release of Jurassic World Rebirth on July 2, 2025, one question continues to linger among fans: where is the first official trailer? Despite the movie’s imminent release, there has been no trailer or significant promotional material, leaving many frustrated. The film is poised to introduce a new chapter in the Jurassic franchise, but with just months to go, fans are eagerly wondering when Universal will pull back the curtain.

With the release date fast approaching, it’s clear that Universal is holding out for the perfect moment to release the trailer. Fans are speculating that the first teaser could drop during the 2025 Super Bowl on February 9. This high-profile event is known for being a prime time for major film trailer drops, and Jurassic World Rebirth seems like an ideal candidate for such a big reveal. A trailer debut during the Super Bowl would give Universal the chance to reach millions of viewers at once, generating massive excitement for the film.

Another reason for the delay could be that Universal is choosing to keep key details about the film’s plot under wraps. The secrecy around the movie has been tight, with very little revealed so far (the plot teases a “shocking” twist), which suggests they are carefully crafting the marketing strategy to build suspense. Releasing the trailer at the right time, with just enough information to whet fans’ appetites, could be a strategic move to maximize buzz and ensure that the film stays in the public consciousness in the months leading up to its release.

Jurassic World Rebirth promises to mark the beginning of “a new Jurassic era,” distancing itself from the Jurassic World trilogy. The film stars Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame) as Zora Bennett, a covert operations expert, and Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton) as Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist, who lead a team on a mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs.

Though we haven’t seen any footage yet, fans can probably expect the trailer to focus on the new direction Jurassic World Rebirth is taking. While the film promises to be quite different from its predecessors, there will likely be references to the original Jurassic Park films, including nods to iconic moments like “clever girl” and “hold onto your butts.”

The trailer will likely also offer glimpses of the new characters and settings, but probably won’t reveal too much about the “sinister discovery” that has been teased. Given director Gareth Edwards’ style, as seen in Rogue One and Godzilla (2014), it’s safe to assume that the film will employ a more restrained approach to dinosaur reveals, building tension and excitement rather than overwhelming the audience with constant action.

The wait for the Jurassic World Rebirth trailer is almost over, but fans are still left wondering when it will arrive. Whether it premieres during the Super Bowl or at another major event, the trailer is bound to be a major talking point. As we get closer to the film’s release, anticipation is only growing.
