There are plenty of places within Walt Disney World’s four major theme parks that offer up an enticing array of refreshments along with a much-needed restful refresher for on-the-go guests. While you can find delicious suggestions at various snack stops and quick service posts along the way to wherever your travels take you, some places go above and beyond the usual pick-me-up items to dish out so much more by way of bountiful offerings in food and beverage, as well as ample areas to sit down for a bit and unwind a little. Here’s our listing for 10 such delightful places throughout various Disney Parks where you can enjoy refreshments and indulge in a restful, well-deserved and rejuvenating break.

Sharing space with neighboring Tiffin’s right next door, Nomad Lounge takes guests on an epicurean exploration into new tastes and tantalizations that other lounges just can’t boast. Discover a wild frenzy of delightful small-plate dish options along with seemingly limitless libations in an all-out expedition only Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park could deliver on so well. Menu inspirations for food and drink are taken from remote yet palatable picks hailed around the world, adding yet more to the multicultural theme and thrill of transcending thousands of miles in trekking and exploration. You’ll also find plenty of in-house non-alcoholic specialties as well, including loose-tea tea varieties, coffee-infused selections, and other virgin cocktails and blended drink concoctions that join tastes and ingredients of the international and exotic kind.

Inside the lounge, the atmosphere offers up an adventurous retreat to some unknown oasis in the corner of the world, keeping the overall experience interesting and entertaining to the senses while allotting you a well-deserved time out to relax and rejuvenate. Pay careful attention to the decorative banners hanging about in the central space with special travel-related, global, and cultural questions guests are invited to answer via written response on tags provided by Cast Members on standby. Later, your responses will even be hung on a “tag chandelier,” above the bar. Also note, that for every $1 purchase of a mini-banner to record your own travel memories on, 85% of that tag purchase goes toward the Disney Conservation Fund. Other highlights to note within Nomad Lounge include comfortable chairs and sofas for lounging, along with table and barstool space. Additionally, Nomad Lounge offers delightful outdoor seating on its patio.

For one of the most authentic French bakery experiences you will find outside the country of France, there’s Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. Located within Epcot’s World Showcase France Pavilion, this cozy and quaint little nook offers up a host of possibilities that are traditional of French street stops, in which menus are far more profuse than just simple confections and a cup of coffee. Of course, if that’s what you so crave you will in fact find it right here, but also abundantly far more.

From beignets, croissants, and éclairs to other delightful pastries, tarts, and desserts, there’s plenty to keep the mood sweet and decadent. Additionally, there are also plenty of light bites available, including specialty soups and salads, sandwiches, and other plated possibilities that make for a perfect small snack or quick meal. Specialty coffees like espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes are top-sellers, as are unique selections of wines, champagnes, beers, and other drinks, both alcoholic and otherwise. 

The overall mood and authentic appeal of Les Halles Boulangerie is very comparable to what you’ll find in France, both in menu selections and taste, as well as the general atmosphere. Spacious lines at the ordering counter and ample seating also highlight the appeal and charm of choosing this designation as the one to take a much-needed break at.

8. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar

This little lounge, located within Epcot’s Italy Pavilion, makes for an intimate guest dining experience so esoteric there are still many who do not know just what it all entails. Sharing lobby space with the larger and more widely known Tutto Italia Restaurant, Tutto Gusto is a quieter escape into the epicurean, modeled after rustic countryside Italian wine cellars with all the traditional touches in dĂ©cor and style, like stone walls, brick archways, and wooden beams. What’s more, it caters to a much smaller crowd, with just a 96-person capacity at a time! 

As the name suggests, this is the place to find a profuse portion of specialty wines, including over 200 bottled imports and exclusives straight out of Italy. Additional beverage offerings, including beers and other libations, are also available as well as a host of non-alcohol alternatives. But Tutto Gusto Wine Cellars isn’t known solely for providing drinks.

As a family-friendly lounge for all to come in and enjoy, you can dive into a delightful menu of small plate features and traditionally inspired Italian entrée selections. From meat and cheese platters, to other enticing light bites, many find Tutto Gusto’s food features to be more than satisfying, whether seeking a snack or light lunch/dinner. Then there are the desserts—perfect to top off a savory sip or add the finishing touch to a light plate. Highlighted options in this category include Chocolate Caramel, Crema al Limone e Fragole, Mocha Tiramisu, Nutella Chocolate Cake, and Panna Cotta alla Vaniglia. 

7. Baseline Taphouse

Discover a slice of authentic downtown Los Angeles lore right in the heart of Hollywood Studios, no less, with a stop in at Baseline Taphouse. Located on the park’s Grand Avenue, an already famed themed favorite paying tribute to California glory and remnants of Hollywood’s heyday, this unique lounge takes on its own role quite well.

The interior theme and décor motif embraces the central story plot for having once been the industrial home to the mom-and-pop print house known as the Figueroa Printing Company, which partnered with Disney Studios back in the day. And you can see these subtle references on the walls and in the building’s overall structure, inside and out. Now operating as Baseline Taphouse, this lounge is here to serve all your quick service needs as a refreshment post and great place to unwind and relax a bit in the midst of an active day in the park. 

As a transcending escape to Los Angeles, it should come as no surprise that authentic California wines, ales, ciders, craft beers, and other unique libations from the Golden State are among the lounge’s array of enticements. Special state-famed cocktails make for unique offerings in addition to a variety of small plate options to pair perfectly with whatever concocted beverage you so choose.

Baseline Taphouse also offers specialty non-alcoholic beverages and cocktail designations, making a break here suitable for all ages. Ample seating also allows for varied options, whether you choose an indoor trip down Memory Lane that’s draped in nostalgia or a nice open-air terrace experience.

6. Sunshine Seasons Food Court

This counter service collaboration within Epcot’s Land Pavilion in Future World presents a variation of delicious food selections to choose from around the clock. Sharing the onsite premises with Epcot’s resident greenhouses, you may rest assured that the vegetable ingredients and fillers featured in any orders placed here are as fresh as they come, literally harvested right next door.

There are five serving stations to choose from in all: the Asian Noodles Shop, Grill Shop, Sandwich Shop, Soup & Salad Shop, and the Bakery Shop, which also features handy and convenient grab and go items. From mouthwatering wood-fired favorites to robust salads, stellar sandwiches, and satisfying soups, bountiful breakfasts to decadent desserts, Sunshine Seasons Food Court has something for everyone. Beverage selections include varieties that range from fountain drinks and bottles to alcohol fixings such as beers, ales, hard ciders, and even specialties like the Bloody Mary. 

You’ll find plenty of seating throughout the spacious setup, making this an excellent place to stop and relax a while. And being right next to one of Epcot’s main attractions, Soarin’, makes the choice to dine here an even more optimal one.

5. The Plaza

The Magic Kingdom’s Plaza Restaurant remains one of Main Street, U.S.A.’s happiest haunts. While its adjoining Plaza Ice Cream Parlor gets most of the attention, this lesser-known table service option provides a most enjoyable experience to those looking for a quick and convenient meal or satisfying snack. Enjoy low-key casual dining in a turn-of-the-20th-century setting that surrounds you with all the elegance and grace of bygone days, from embellished light fixtures to decorative mirrors and other charming hints of the Art Nouveau style that reigned supreme back in the day. 

Breakfast is among one of the restaurant’s favorite features, with openings as early as 8 a.m. daily and the menu being available up until 10:30 a.m. In keeping with its classic Americana appeal, the breakfast menu consists of all the hearty traditional favorites you know and love so well, along with a few unique surprises, such as Lobster-Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict and Create-Your-Own Omelet options. There are even specialty drinks offered on the menu at this time, including non-alcoholic berry and fruit smoothies along with breakfast cocktails that do feature alcohol, like House-made White Sangria, Canella Bellini Sparkling Peach, and the Plaza Mimosa. Lunch and dinner fixings are also great and come in a variety of options and sizes to meet any of your needs.

From salads, soups, and sandwiches to more filling plates and other delightful Create-Your-Own entrée opportunities, Plaza Restaurant certainly packs a lot into its enticing presentations. In addition, great libations are available to pair with your plate, including wines, beers, and other specialties. And while a stop by the Ice Cream Parlor can make for a great dessert sendoff, you’ll find it isn’t necessary after browsing the restaurant’s delightful dessert listings, which include everything, from cakes, shakes, and yes, even ice cream. Check out their famed All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Milk Shakes, or ask about the Seasonal Specialty Cake. Maybe you’re feeling bold enough to dive into the Plaza Restaurant Sundae house specialty or one of their unique bread pudding features. Whatever you crave it’s right here!

4. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

This favorite folly found in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion makes for a most pleasing refreshment suggestion. From traditional Norwegian delicacies and desserts to light bites and small plates, this quick service counter stop is both convenient and satisfying with a menu that certainly hits the spot.

This is where you will find that famous School Bread you’ve no doubt heard about—a national specialty sweet roll of Norway that’s filled with custard and dipped in coconut. Guests all over Disney World come out to this specific location just to get some. Other decadent delights to enjoy include those orange cream marmalade-filled pastry puffs known as Troll Horns, traditional Lefse cinnamon-sugar flatbread, and many others.

And of course, you can’t have a bakery so named without traditional Norwegian Kringla—pretzel-shaped pastries that come with a variety of toppings. Small plate café options are also available here, like the Norwegian Club, Ham and Apple Sandwich, Salmon and Egg Bagel, and the Norwegian Chef’s Salad. And don’t forget a fabulous drink pairing, whether it’s an accommodating cappuccino, latte, or some other café favorite or something stronger like Nordic Draft Beer or specialty Viking Coffee.

The fanciful theming and décor inside, where you order, takes you to outdoor open-air seating options under a secure roofed awning. So rest assured you will be in comfortable shade and protected from rain while you sit awhile and take time out to enjoy your yummy treats!

3. Sunset Ranch Market

A walk along Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reveal a wide range of counter service eateries. While each one boasts its own unique niche, together they comprise of what’s known as Sunset Ranch Market. First there’s Rosie’s All-American Café, renowned for its burgers, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and other quick bites.

For a sassy Latin-inspired twist, you can visit Fairfax Fare where offerings include empanadas, fajitas, rice bowls, and more, in addition to classic American favorites, like hot dogs, sandwiches, and even vegetarian options. Catalina Eddie’s is the go-to place for pizza, Caesar salads, and other Italian inspired interests. For a fresh and healthy snack accompaniment be sure to stop by at Anaheim Produce. Then top off your experience with a refreshing ice cream enticement at Hollywood Scoops.

Most locations offer a diverse listing of beverage options that feature everything from fountain drinks to beers, wines, and other stronger pairings. As a one-stop eating destination, you’re not confined to choosing just one of these counter service operations. Mix and match and then join your family and friends back in the extensive shared seating area for a great way to relax and unwind while out and about. 

2. Rose & Crown Pub

This neat little nook in Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion is just the spot to gather around in a neighborly local public house setting in true Brit fashion. While the adjoining dining room exhibits a more extensive and indulgent full table dining experience, the pub makes for a perfect little pick-me-up stop in, featuring light bites and refreshing bevy to boot. And yes, this is the place to get that traditional time-loved classic of fish and chips. As for the drinks, you can delight in a bounty of selections, from bold choices like the Cider and Fireball, Leaping Leprechaun, or the Welsh Dragon to traditional ales, wines, lagers, stouts, scotch whiskey, and plenty more.

As mentioned previously, the overall atmosphere and setting within Rose & Crown is quaintly British, from design and décor elements to the lively in-house entertainment you’ll find on the spot at various times throughout the day. And with indoor and outdoor seating both, there’s plenty of space to sit around and relax a bit. And on that note, the outdoor seating section makes for a great viewing area for Epcot’s own nighttime spectacular.

1. Tune-In Lounge 

This Hollywood Studios-based lounge takes the concept of “lounging around” to new standards, with its full-fledged 1950s living room theme. Stop on in for a trip down Memory Lane, as you take in the vintage dĂ©cor and overall setting, complete with sofas, chairs, and typical in-home furnishings in addition to a full-service retro bar with stools and all. There are even antique black and white televisions playing old-time classics to help drive the nostalgic mood yet further. 

Sit awhile and unwind with sips from many delicious drink options to choose from, whether house specialty cocktails featuring unique glow cubes, or fine wine fixings. There are also convenient cans and bottles for on-the-go purchases as well as disposable cocktail cups in addition. And with its adjoining location next to 1950s Prime Time Café, any visitor to Tune-In Lounge can actually order off the same full entrée menu offered there. So whether you want to stay awhile, or take a quick time out, get your fine-tuning before your second wind in the park at Tune-In Lounge.

Disney boasts plenty of other pleasing detours to take when considering where to stop for refreshments and a much-needed break. Some other noteworthy considerations can be found at various property-based hotel resorts as well as locations throughout Disney Springs. And there are also those elite secret Club 33 locations throughout the various parks for those who have the means and the membership.
