Fans of the Walt Disney World Resort have been patiently waiting to the reopening of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park since it closed at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and that time has arrived! Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has officially reopened and we are thrilled to share the news of some special savings you may be able to take advantage of while visiting the park this year.
Disney just announced a new $20 savings on tickets to this fan-favorite water park exclusively for Annual Passholders! The offer is valid for 1-day tickets to the water park, specially priced for Annual Passholders at $49 per person (a savings of $20 per ticket over the full price of $69 per person.)
The discount is valid for the Annual Passholder and up to three Guests and there are two ways to purchase. Passholders can log into their accounts on disneyworld.com (be sure that your Annual Pass is linked to your account) and click through to purchase tickets to the water park where they will see the special savings available to them.
Tickets may also be purchased in person at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon at any ticket booth outside of the park. To be purchase in person, the transaction must be done by the Annual Passholder who will need to show their Annual Pass along with a photo ID.
The offer is valid through December 31, 2022, so if you are feeling like it is a little too chilly to be hitting up a water park right now, you will still have plenty of time to visit using this special offer!
Last year, the same discount was offered for Annual Passholders visiting Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, however it was the only park open at the time while Typhoon Lagoon remained closed earlier in the reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort. While Blizzard Beach is now closed for its annual refurbishment, we do not yet have a reopening date for the park and cannot confirm at this time if the discount will be extended to Blizzard Beach when it does reopen.
As always, we will keep you updated here on Disney Fanatic as we learn more about special savings for Walt Disney World Resort hotels, theme parks, and water parks.
