The holidays are going to be spectacular at Walt Disney World Resort this year!
On June 15, Disney announced the return of many beloved seasonal celebrations—namely Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the EPCOT Candlelight Processional, and more—and is also bringing fans something new to celebrate and mark this holiday season. Disney Parks Blog also announced a new holiday spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park.
Fortunately for us, that’s not all.

Frozen at the Disney Parks
Ever since the release of the popular franchise, Frozen, fans have been hoping for Disney to bring more themed entertainment from the movies to the Disney Parks. Disney did deliver. Currently, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Resort are all working on their versions of a Frozen-themed land.
Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland will be home to Arendelle: The World of Frozen, and Tokyo DisneySea will house Frozen Kingdom as part of an expansion that includes Rapunzel’s Forest and Peter Pan’s Never Land inspired by Tangled and Peter Pan.
But these are all international Parks; many domestic Disney fans have wanted more Frozen-themed entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort as well.

Frozen comes to the Walt Disney World Resort
While we don’t (yet) have an announcement about a Frozen-themed land in Walt Disney World, this holiday season, fans can enjoy a brand new entertainment offering based on the beloved franchise: “Frozen Holiday Surprise.”
For the first time in forever, (IYKYK) Guests will be able to join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom for “a brand new Frozen-inspired entertainment experience that will illuminate the castle in a whole new way.”
“Frozen Holiday Surprise,” a brand new “Frozen”-inspired entertainment experience "that will illuminate the castle in a whole new way." Will happen every night during regular park hours and during MVMCP.

The castle will be lit up in this all-new way during regular Disney Park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Let it never be said that Disney isn’t delivering that holiday magic in their quintessential Disney way to those of us who choose to spend the holidays at a Disney theme park!
