The Jurassic World franchise is expanding in 2025, delivering new content across film, television, and gaming. Universal Pictures, Netflix, and video game studios are all contributing to the next era of the dinosaur-centric franchise, with highly anticipated projects set to arrive throughout the year.
Jurassic World Rebirth, the next film in the long-running series, is scheduled for release on July 2, 2025. Starring Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey, the film will be the first theatrical installment in the franchise since 2022's Jurassic World Dominion. As excitement builds for the film, the franchise is also making waves in television and gaming.

Now, according to a Netflix press release (via What’s On Netflix), Jurassic World: Chaos Theory will return for a third season. The animated series, a sequel to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, continues to follow its established characters as they adapt to a world where dinosaurs exist outside of Isla Nublar.
The first two seasons were released within a short time frame, and the third is set to arrive sometime this year. Watch the trailer for the latest season, Season 2, below:
In addition to its film and television projects, the Jurassic franchise will see a major presence in gaming. “Jurassic Park: Survival,” a first-person action-adventure game, will allow players to experience events set directly after the original 1993 film.
Meanwhile, another entry in the “Jurassic World Evolution” park management series is also in development.
