A persistent technical issue in the TRON Lightcycle / Run queue at Magic Kingdom Park has been hiding in plain sight, but once guests know what to look for, it's impossible to unsee.
Screen Burn-In Affects Most Queue Monitors

On Monday, WDWNT reported that the majority of screens in the TRON Lightcycle / Run queue are displaying a permanently burned image of a Lightcycle across every scene they play. The outlet shared a photo showing the ghost image of the white bicycle-shaped ride vehicle visible throughout an entirely different scene in the pre-show sequence — a clear case of screen burn-in that has compromised most of the monitors lining the attraction's queue.
The affected screens display safety warnings, instruct Magic Kingdom Park guests to store personal items in the complimentary lockers, and demonstrate how to board the roller coaster. All of that content is still playing — just with a permanent Lightcycle silhouette superimposed over everything.

Screen burn-in happens when a static image is displayed repeatedly on a monitor for extended periods, causing certain pixels to degrade faster than the surrounding ones. The bright white Lightcycle image — shown consistently across these screens since the attraction opened — appears to have been too intense for the monitors to handle over time, leaving a permanent mark that now overlays every other image the screens display.
Walt Disney World Resort has not acknowledged the damage publicly, and no refurbishment of the Tomorrowland coaster is currently scheduled. Whether the damaged monitors can be swapped out without disrupting attraction operations hasn't been addressed.
