There are more than four hundred places to grab a bite to eat at the Walt Disney World Resort. Yes, you read that correctly, FOUR HUNDRED. That is a lot of options, and narrowing them down can feel like an impossible task. Luckily, Disney offers something for nearly every budget, every palate, and every kind of dietary restriction.
Disney has everything from snack stands selling pretzels and popcorn to quick-service spots offering options like Cheeseburger Steam Pods, Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, burgers, and more.

For those who want to indulge a little more, there are sit-down restaurants guests love, including ones that let you dine with characters! And there are some truly delicious buffets. However, we will admit that some are better than others.
Here are our favorite buffet options at Walt Disney World.
Boma – Flavors of Africa
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge might be one of the most underrated or skipped-over Walt Disney World hotels. And that would be a huge mistake. Not only is the Deluxe Resort absolutely stunning, but it also has hotel rooms and dining spots that look out over the savanna. That’s right, you can wake up every morning of your vacation and see giraffes right outside your window! It’s a sight that never gets old.
Animal Kingdom Lodge is also home to one of the best — if not the best — buffets on property — Boma: Flavors of Africa. And whether you dine there for breakfast or dinner, you are sure to walk away up satisfied.
Both breakfast and dinner at Boma offer a great variety of American and African-inspired dishes. At breakfast, guests can enjoy things like Cinnamon Rolls, Pancakes, Eggs, and Bacon. Then, there are also dishes like Coconut Steel-Cut Oatmeal, Wood-Grilled Asparagus, Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs, and Turkey Bobotie. And don’t forget about the unlimited POG juice!
For dinner, we hope we don’t make your mouth water with these incredible options.
Dinner options include Peanut Rice or Coconut Rice (on rotation), African Spiced Beef Striploin, Butternut Squash Soup (a top pick), Olive Oil Herbed-Crushed Potatoes, Tunisian Couscous and Shrimp Salad, Tamarind BBQ Pork Ribs, and Sweet Corn Pudding.

And we can’t forget about dessert, which has options like cakes and cookies, and the iconic Zebra Domes, which you can ONLY get at Animal Kingdom Lodge! But beware, they do contain a little bit of alcohol.
Tusker House Restaurant
If getting to the parks early is your goal during your Disney World vacation, then you’ll definitely want to try Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Like Boma, the restaurant does have African-inspired dishes, but younger guests might find more options they like, including waffles with Simba on them!

1900 Park Fare
Another character meal also makes our list for the best buffet at The Most Magical Place on Earth. 1900 Park Fare used to feature a dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, and her hilarious step-sisters, but when the pandemic hit, Disney decided to give the restaurant and its characters a makeover.
1900 Park Fare now features a variety of characters at breakfast and dinner, including Tiana from The Princess and the Frog (2009), Cinderella, Mirabel from Encanto (2021), and Aladdin.
1900 Park Fare is open for both breakfast and dinner, with both meals featuring the beloved characters.
Breakfast has a ton of great options like Cheesy Scrambled Eggs, Bread Pudding with Vanilla Crème Anglaise, Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup with Fresh Strawberries and Whipped Cream, Classic Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce, Spiced Tofu Scramble with Vegetables, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, and Smoked Salmon.
For dinner, there are mouthwatering options, including Baked Salmon with Saffron-Lemon Butter, Prime Rib, Roasted Garlic Sausage with Tomatoes, Herbs, and Braised Cabbage, Impossible™ Merguez Sausage with Zucchini Noodles, Tiana’s Gumbo with Spicy Andouille Sausage, and of course, a variety of desserts, and the restaurant’s iconic Strawberry Soup.

Biergarten Restaurant
EPCOT is the foodie capital of Walt Disney World, so we couldn’t leave one of its restaurants off the list! There is only one buffet dining spot at EPCOT, but it is really delicious.
The Biergarten Restaurant is located in the Germany Pavilion of the World Showcase, and it is so much more than a buffet, it is a dining experience! Guests sit at communal tables, where they meet some truly interesting people from all around the world. There is delicious food, incredible beer, and even a live Polka band!

Biergarten is open for lunch and dinner and may include seasonal salads like Gemischter Salat (Mixed Green Salad), Bayrischer Kraut Salat (Bavarian Cabbage Salad), Gurken Salat (Cucumber-Dill Salad), Nudel Salat (Macaroni Salad), Bohnen Salat (Assorted Bean Salad), and Bayrischer Wurst Salat (Bavarian Sausage Salad).
Then, there are savory offerings, including Rotisserie Chicken, Pork Shank Gratin with Fried Onions, Roasted Potatoes, Spaetzle, Sausage Platters, Sauerkraut, Meat Patties, and Breaded Schnitzel.
BONUS: ‘Ohana
Okay, so ‘Ohana is not a buffet, but it is an all-you-are-to-eat dining spot that offers some truly iconic dishes.
Now, the ‘Ohana’ breakfast is pretty basic, but the dinner has some options that guests cannot get enough of. The ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet includes Wood-Fired Grilled Teriyaki Beef*, Peel-n-Eat Shrimp coated with ‘Ohana’ Seasoning, Grilled Chicken with Guava-Peach Glaze, ‘Ohana Noodles, and Stir-fry Vegetables.
While dining at ‘Ohana, guests can ask for more of whatever their favorite part of the skillet is, and, for many of them, it’s the legendary ‘Ohana Noodles. You can separately order the Port Dumplings, which are absolutely delicious. And you CAN’T dine at ‘Ohana for dinner without ordering the scrumptious bread pudding for dessert.
As you can see, there are a ton of great buffet options guests have when dining at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are options for guests who love characters and guests who just love amazing buffets.
No matter which one you choose, you are sure to be satisfied with any of these buffets!
