The newly returned CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, has announced that he will be addressing employees and Cast Members about the future of the Company.
The Walt Disney Company has seen a lot of upheaval and reorganization over the last week. Former Disney CEO Bob Chapek was ousted (reportedly due to an internal rebellion) and was replaced by the much more popular Bob Iger, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Disney for fifteen years before Chapek took over.
With all these changes, while many fans have been celebrating Chapek’s exit—Disney’s stock even jumped with Iger’s return—there is still the question that looms ahead of what the future for the Mouse House holds.
And apparently, Disney and its newly returned CEO will answer that very question soon. In an email sent out to Cast Members and employees at the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger addressed them and invited them to a Town Hall that is going to be held on Monday, November 28, 2022. In the email, Iger said,
Dear Fellow Employees and Cast Members,
On Monday, I will be returning to the Walt Disney Studio Lot, a place I have always loved. I’m eager to be rejoining dear colleagues and meeting new team members who’ve become part of our company this past year. To start the week off, please join me in a Town Hall at 9 a.m. PT, Monday, where I will talk about the future of this incredible company and answer your questions about the work ahead as we build on Disney’s legacy of creativity, innovation, and inspiration. The information for the event is below. I hope you will join me.

While we have not had official news about what the future might hold for the soon-to-be 100-year-old Walt Disney Company, this town hall will be our first look into what the Company has planned and how they plan to move forward with the recent reorganization.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to report on all Disney news as it comes to light.
