World Princess Week might be a portion of Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration that is wrapping up, but Disney princesses like Ariel the little mermaid and Raya the soon-to-be official Disney princess are still bringing Disney magic to Disney Guests year-round — and recently, the classic Disney princess Aurora encountered a particularly amusing Guest!
During a Meet and Greet at Walt Disney World Resort, Princess Aurora (otherwise known as Briar Rose or Sleeping Beauty) was telling a story to a young Disney Guest when the child interrupted her.

Normally young Guests might interrupt a Disney character during a Disney World Character Meet and Greet to ask questions (for example, a child might ask Ariel about her friends Sebastian and Flounder) — but this time, the girl speaking to Princess Aurora was not asking her about loved ones like Prince Philip or Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.
Instead, the child pointed out the Disney princess’s sweat! Even though Cast Members try to look composed at all times in accordance with their assigned characters’ demeanor, the Florida heat is something that not even the most high-quality makeup can completely defeat.

Fortunately, the Disney World Cast Member portraying Princess Aurora handled the rather rude comment with grace and poise, laughing it off and asking the visitor to point out sweaty spots for her to blot. The Cast Member had a handkerchief on hand within her costume, which she took out and used to dab sweat off of her face according to the young girl’s instructions.
A Cast Member who was friends with Aurora was recently surprised on her last day as a full-time Disney princess in Walt Disney World Resort.
Another Cast Member who was playing Princess Aurora recently appeared on TikTok, after being treated to a very sweet surprise for her last day as a full-time Disney performer — and that Cast Member pulled out a pink handkerchief to wipe away tears, too, so clearly a silk handkerchief is a crucial Disney princess accessory!
