New Photos Appear to Prove Disney Star is Actually Married!

If you are a fan of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar, then you most likely know who Chris Evans is. Heck, if you are a fan of movies in general, then you have probably heard of Chris Evans. The superstar heartthrob has starred in a number of hit films over the years, including The Fantastic Four, Snowpiercer, Knives Out, and The Gray Man.

Evans has always been vocal about how much he loves Disney. He has shared pictures of himself watching Disney movies with his family, and loves to visit the theme parks. So, working with Disney was a dream come true.

Evans shot to the top tier of Hollywood when he starred in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011. He then starred in more than half a dozen subsequent Marvel movies, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, The Avengers, The Avengers: Infinity War, and The Avengers: Endgame.

Chris Evans and Captain America were an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He then transitioned to the world of Pixar, when he voiced Buzz Lightyear in the 2022 film, Lightyear.

This summer, Evans shocked fans when he appeared to delete his social media accounts. Evans had been relatively active on social media, frequently sharing pictures of his beloved dog, Dodger.

Then, in early September, news broke that Evans had married his longtime girlfriend, actress Alba Baptista, in a private wedding in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The two had been dating for around 2 years.

Evans reportedly invited a number of his Marvel costars to his nuptials, including Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan Downey, Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky, and Jeremy Renner. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were also in attendance.

The wedding was reportedly kept under wraps and guests were required to turn in their cellphones before they entered the venue to prevent pictures from being released. Neither Evans nor Baptista, nor any of their friends or family, have confirmed their marriage.

Until now.

Evans recently attended Comic Con in New York. During that time, he posed for photos with fans, and some pictures were shared online. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice a gold ring on a very important finger.

Fans were excited to see that the actor had indeed found happiness and married the love of his life.

At this time, it doesn’t look like Evans will be coming back to Disney for any new projects in the near future. However, he has frequently expressed how much he loves working on new projects with the House of Mouse. He has even said that he would love to become a part of one of Disney’s most iconic franchises — Star Wars. Evans even joked that he was shocked that he was a part of Marvel and Pixar, but has yet to even be a Stormtrooper in the Star Wars universe.

Unfortunately, Evans and Disney faced a lot of backlash when it was announced that he would be voicing Buzz Lightyear. Many fans thought that Tim Allen should return to reprise the role he made iconic. However, it was repeatedly pointed out that the film was not about Allen’s Buzz Lightyear. It was about the man who inspired one of Andy’s favorite toys.
