Controversial and erratic Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk seems to be quite angry at Bob Iger for his recent decision to pull ads from X, formerly known as Twitter.
Over the years, the Walt Disney Company has been embroiled in many controversies. Some accused the company of being too politically involved with former Disney CEO Bob Chapek’s actions when it came to the “Don’t Say Gay” bill (known officially as the Parental Rights in Education law) that was put in place by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Many have bemoaned the state of the Walt Disney Company, and now a billionaire CEO has added his voice to the list.
The so-called fight between Tesla CEO Elon Musk (who made headlines when he bought the social media platform X) and Disney CEO Bob Iger continues, with the former now calling for Mr. Iger to be fired.

Elon Musk Pulls No Punches in Fight with Bob Iger
The contentious Tesla CEO made more comments recently, as reported by CNN Business, wherein he’s demanded that the long-time Disney CEO be fired for his actions.
It’s worth noting, however, that Musk’s problems with Disney have nothing to do with the decisions the Mouse House made about Governor DeSantis or their movies and messaging. Mr. Musk contends Bob Iger should be fired because Disney chose to pull ads from X, formerly known as Twitter.
“He should be fired immediately,” Musk wrote about Iger on X. “Walt Disney is turning in his grave over what Bob has done to his company.”

…But Bob Iger Continues Not to Care
However, while Elon Musk has made his feelings about this situation unequivocally clear, Bob Iger has also made his stance clear by staying quiet. Bob Iger has often been the kind of CEO to not speak more than once on certain subjects, and it’s unsurprising that this “fight” with Elon Musk is one of them.
Currently, Disney has far bigger fish to fry than a disgruntled CEO who is frustrated over how certain business interactions have gone.

The Mouse House is dealing with struggles at the box office and innumerable criticism from multiple parties about being “too woke” AND “not doing enough” to help and represent minorities. As Disney navigates this issues while assuaging shareholders that all is well at the company, Elon Musk is likely the least of Disney’s and Bob Iger’s worries.
