A highly-anticipated message for Disney Vacation Club members has arrived! DVC members get early access to preview the equally-anticipated new Marvel thrill ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind before its summer opening in EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort, and the date when registration for that Walt Disney World Resort preview will begin has just been announced!
Journalist Scott Gustin shared the news on Twitter in the Tweet shown below! Unfortunately, the registration date for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind preview for Disney Annual Passholders was not announced with the registration date for Disney Vacation Club members.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a Walt Disney World Resort roller coaster and fast-paced ride that fans of Star Wars, Marvel, and the comedic yet action-packed style of the Guardians of the Galaxy films will definitely appreciate. We already know that the Walt Disney World Resort and EPCOT thrill ride will open to Disney Guests (i.e. Guests who are not Disney Vacation Club members or Annual Passholders) on May 27.

The Disney Parks Blog recently shared that the thrill ride, which is located in EPCOT within Walt Disney World Resort, will involve a Wonders of Xandar pavilion and the people of Xandar (another planet from the Marvel Cinematic Universe). The Nova Corps, which “is Xandar’s peacekeeping team [who serve] as protectors of their planet and the broader Andromeda Galaxy”, will be part of the Disney ride.
You can see a trailer for the Disney ride and Marvel ride below; as usual, it looks like each Disney Imagineer has played a part in making an exciting new ride full of immersive detail!
Rocket the intergalactic raccoon will most certainly be making an appearance on the interactive roller coaster ride in EPCOT, and we can only hope that crowd favorites like Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) will also show up. Perhaps Karen Gillan’s Nebula and Zoe Saldana’s Gamora will be in the ride, too!

Even though Scott Gustin only revealed that DVC members will be able to start registering for the Cosmic Rewind preview on April 14 at 9 am in a virtual queue, he did point out that the Annual Passholders are probably not going to be far behind in receiving their own registration date for the new Walt Disney World Resort ride.
Gustin used the Ratatouille ride preview as an example; for that Disney attraction, the Annual Passholders had started registration only a day after Disney Vacation Club members.
