Many Disney Adults dream about making a drastic Disney-related lifestyle change or being able to spend their workdays in Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, or international Disney Parks — but one school teacher has actually made her own Disney ‘happily ever after’ happen by becoming a professional Disney princess!

Englishwoman Olivia Cutforth was an educator from Peterborough, England until the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic began.

In an interview with Kennedy News and Media, Olivia Cutforth explained that she was “desperate” to create her own business and was filled to the brim with potential.

“I had this ambition and vision to run my own company, never thinking it would take off the way it did,” Cutforth added. “I thought I’d just keep it [impersonating Disney princesses] as a side hustle, do some stuff at the weekends and carry on being a teacher.”

After the pandemic began, however, Cutforth (like many) reevaluated her priorities and shifted her focus to her new Disney princess endeavor more and more regularly. Finally, in 2021, she left teaching and officially started her business: Beyond A Princess!

Cutforth was off to a good start before she committed to her party princess business on a full-time basis, having actually built up a considerable following on the social media platform called TikTok.

The biggest initial investment when becoming Disney princesses, it turns out, is the Disney princess costumes.

Costumes for a professional Disney princess obviously need to be much more high-quality, accurate, and detailed than the average Disney Park Guest’s Halloween costume — but according to Cutforth, “within a couple of months [she] made the money back.”

Now Beyond A Princess involves an entire team of people working behind the scenes, as well as ten women who portray the Disney princesses for the UK-based business!

“I made sure all my team are trained singers, dancers and actresses so the kids are getting an authentic experience because all the girls sing just like the princesses,” Cutforth added.

Cutforth’s cast of characters apparently “not only features princesses like Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Elsa, and more but also offers dark characters like Maleficent and Netflix’s Wednesday Adams.”

Children’s birthday parties are, of course, one of the biggest reasons for Disney princess hires — but apparently, Disney princesses are in demand at adult “corporate events,” too!

Would you ever hire a Disney princess performer or party princess for a family party, or perhaps a work event?
