Disney Brings Something New to a Once-Packed Hollywood Studios Spot

There are plenty of places inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios where the crowds gather. Attractions like Rise of the Resistance and Tower of Terror usually dominate the wait-time boards, pulling thousands of guests toward the park’s biggest thrills.

But tucked away near the front of the park is a quieter attraction that often gets overlooked.

Walt Disney Presents isn’t a ride. It’s a walk-through experience that combines a small museum, rotating film exhibits, and a theater showing previews of upcoming Disney projects. For guests who enjoy the history behind Disney movies, it’s one of the most interesting stops in the park.

And right now, there’s a brand-new reason to step inside.

A Limited-Time Oscars Exhibit

A new display celebrating Disney’s Oscar-winning legacy has quietly arrived inside Walt Disney Presents. The exhibit includes film props, costumes, and memorabilia connected to productions that earned Academy Award recognition.

Disney’s relationship with the Oscars stretches back nearly a century. Walt Disney himself remains one of the most decorated figures in the history of the awards ceremony, collecting dozens of statuettes throughout his career.

The display highlights that long history while also showcasing items tied to more modern productions.

And some of those items come from films many guests immediately recognize.

A Costume From Titanic (1997)

One of the biggest surprises inside the exhibit is a costume from Titanic (1997).

Guests visiting the display can see Rose’s boarding suit from the film, worn during the early moments of the story when she first arrives on the ship

The wardrobe is part of the elaborate collection of costumes created for the production, which won numerous Academy Awards—including recognition for its costume design.

Standing just a few feet away from the outfit gives visitors a different appreciation for the craftsmanship involved. The textures, stitching, and structure of the clothing reveal just how much work goes into recreating historical periods on film.

Fashion From Cruella (2021)

Another eye-catching item comes from Cruella (2021).

The movie leaned heavily into fashion as part of its storytelling, turning costume design into one of the film’s most memorable elements. The bold, rebellious outfits helped define the character’s rise in the fashion world.

That creative effort paid off when the film won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.

Guests can now view one of those dramatic outfits in person, offering a close-up look at the details that made the wardrobe stand out on screen.

A Reminder of a Recent Crowd Phenomenon

While Walt Disney Presents is usually one of the park’s quieter attractions, it recently experienced something unusual.

Last winter, the building hosted a display featuring costumes from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. The exhibit quickly became a major draw inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Fans packed the attraction throughout the day, with lines stretching through the gallery space. The demand grew so strong that Disney eventually opened the attraction earlier in the morning so resort guests could visit before the rest of the park opened.

For a museum-style exhibit, that level of demand was almost unheard of.

Can This Exhibit Recreate That Moment?

The new Oscars display is very different from the Taylor Swift exhibit, but it still taps into something Disney fans enjoy—seeing real artifacts connected to movies they love.

Whether the exhibit creates the same level of buzz remains to be seen.

But for guests wandering through Hollywood Studios, the display offers a fascinating glimpse into film history.

And sometimes, the most interesting experiences inside a theme park aren’t the ones with the longest lines.

Sometimes they’re hidden inside a quiet building filled with stories from the big screen.
