Some Disney fans shared a wonderful occurrence where they fulfilled a holiday wish at EPCOT at Disney World.
The Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are renowned for being the perfect destinations for a Disney vacation in Central Florida and Southern California. Think many a ride and attraction like “Haunted Mansion” and “Space Mountain” at Magic Kingdom, “Expedition Everest” in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and shows like “Fantasmic!” in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
While there have been many complaints doing the rounds about the Disney Parks recently, some Guests reported a heartening and heart-warming account of their time at EPCOT in Walt Disney World Resort.
Reddit user and Disney fan u/SaysSaysSaysSays took to social media and shared that they went on a “little 2 day trip to Disney with Epcot” with their girlfriend and girlfriend’s sister, and a goal of “getting on Guardians at least once.” The Guests had a wonderful experience and lucked out by getting a boarding pass early in the morning and then decided to purchase a lightning lane for the end of the day so they could ride it again before returning to the hotel.
The Guest shared that not only did the manage to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind once, they got to ride it three times! Here’s how:
The first time we went on, I experienced the most small-world surreal moment I’ve probably ever felt. Last night in the hotel we were randomly watching House Hunters on HGTV featuring this gay couple searching for a place in England. Well sure enough today in line my girlfriend sees these two guys that she points out look like the guys from the episode. And sure enough, IT’S THEM. We talked to them and they were shocked they were even recognized but like what are the odds!?!?!
Later on we head back to Guardians for our second ride which we were all excited for. It broke down for a bit and as we were waiting we notice a little girl puking in the corner. My girlfriend’s sister quickly alerted the cast member who thanked us. Fast forward to after the ride another cast member flags us down and asks us if we want to ride again. Of course we’re all like HELL YES! We thought we got lucky but the cast member said we had done something nice so they wanted to thank us.
It’s accounts like this that remind us what the Disney magic is all about and puts a smile on our faces. Guests from the Disney community in the comments agreed as well. u/vegas_gal said, “Wow. It’ll be a day you talk about for a long time.” Others corroborated what a wonderful day it sounded like.
We at Disney Fanatic will report on all Disney news as it comes to light.
