Everything changes with the times, and now, navigating Disney Parks with paper maps might soon become a dated practice.
The Disney Parks are some of the most magical places to go on vacation to have that quintessential Disney experience. Whether one chooses to go to Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Park, or Disney California Adventure Park in the Disneyland Resort; Guests flock to many a Theme Park to live some of their long-held dreams.
For those who have frequented the Disney Parks, paper brochures are familiar sights, especially one that shows a map with lists of attractions, offerings, and entertainment calendars. The Theme Parks have had these maps for access in several different languages at their entry point.
However, one Disney Park is reportedly removing these completely.
Twitter user and Disney Guest @Cave0fWonders, recently shared that paper maps in Disneyland Paris have now been replaced with a QR code scanner.

The translated text reads,
The paper plan of the Parks is no longer distributed, now City Hall offers you to scan this QR Code.
Further, the sign with the QR code reads, “To make the most of your time, we invite you to download the official Disneyland Paris free mobile app. You will be able to explore the two Disney Parks, see wait times for attractions, and much more.”
Disneyland Paris has had a lot going on recently between the 30th Anniversary celebrations, the recent closures of different rides for refurbishment, as well as inappropriate behavior from Guests that risk the closure of specific attractions and rides.
