If you ask a Disney Fanatic about the pros and cons of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation these days, the resulting list will most likely involve high prices and jam-packed crowds.
After all, a Disney vacation these days is often associated with long wait times for rides or attractions, ride breakdowns or malfunctions that add to those already-long wait times, and crowd control methods akin to those of a cattle rancher.
However, right now there is apparently a wonderful phenomenon happening in Walt Disney World Resort that has left the Disney Parks as “barren” as a post-apocalyptic wasteland!
In a recent conversation on Reddit, a Disney World Guest shared the news that the Disney World theme parks are, at the moment, “suspiciously not packed.”

“Anyone notice the parks are…. suspiciously not packed?” the Reddit user inquired, “Genie plus today was $22. Im walking around fantasyland and this is the first time I’m able to see all the way down the street, alongside other parts of the park”,
“Today is probably the most ‘barren’ i’ve seen the parks,” the Magic Kingdom Guest added.
Where Have All the “Good Guests” Gone?
Other Disney Guests confirmed this phenomenon, saying that they have been able to ride in-demand roller coasters or theme park rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with minimal wait times.
“I was there [for the] last two weeks and, aside from the heavy hitters, every wait was 5 to 10 minutes. It was beautiful,” another Disney World Guest enthused.
Disney Guests can be at risk of overheating during the crowded seasons in the Florida heat at Walt Disney World Resort.

There’s No Time to Waste
If you’re able to make an impromptu Disney World visit work in what remains of this month, then you may want to hurry with your bookings.
Many Disney Guests shared a warning that “Memorial Day weekend will see the crowds shoot back up” and that this “post spring break, pre summer vacation” reprieve will not last.
