Disney Springs Says Goodbye to Popular Food Truck

Walt Disney World Resort has been experiencing a lot of changes lately, with some being restaurants’ returns and others involving ride closures. Unfortunately, there is another closure (of sorts) coming from a Disney property this week: a popular Disney Springs food truck offering has wheeled away!

The Cilantro Urban food truck could be found in the West Side of Disney Springs at the Exposition Park area (aka the Disney Springs Food Truck area) between September 15  and October 15 of this yer as part of Disney’s celebration of Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The food truck confirmed its exit from Disney Springs in the Tweet shown below.

The social media post was posted on October 15, and said the following: “Last call! Today is the last day to enjoy @CilantroUrban Eatery Food Truck here at Disney Springs. Try their Pork Pibil Tostadas piled high with Yucatán-México achiote roasted pork, black bean refritos and more! #TogetherWeAreMagia.”

Food trucks are convenient food stops for many travelers, particularly in a shopping and dining district like Disney Springs, so it is not surprising that Cilantro Urban was a hit. However, you might still be able to catch Cilantro Urban on another Disney property: ESPN Wide World of Sports! This food truck often appears at the sports complex.

If you aren’t headed in search of this particular food truck, then there are still options like the Local Green Orlando, 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck, Hot Diggity Dogs, and Mac & Cheese food trucks to be found in the Disney Springs food truck lot!

Had you gotten to try any of the offerings from Cilantro Urban before it rolled out of Disney Springs after Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month?

Would you like to see more food trucks in Disney locations like Disney Springs, or in Disney Parks within Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort?
