Disney Squatter Confesses: ‘I Had LSD and Weed to Help Me Out’

A TikTok user has stirred up controversy by claiming they secretly squatted at Walt Disney World Resort for a month while carrying LSD and marijuana. The confession, posted in a comment section of a viral video, has left Disney fans shocked and curious about whether such a feat could have been possible. TikTok user @Mt.Buzz12 made the bold claim, stating:

“Back in the mid 90's, I squatted Disney World for also a month, but that was before cameras everywhere.”

The comment immediately sparked reactions, with other users questioning how someone could live on Disney property for an extended period without being detected. In response, @Mt.Buzz12 revealed details about their unconventional sleeping arrangements:

“My vehicle in the resort parking lot, around the pools—no gates 24/7 back then, & sometimes I was invited to people's room.

They also admitted to having a half sheet of LSD and a few ounces of weed, suggesting that their drug supply may have played a role in securing temporary accommodations with other guests.

How Could This Happen?

While sneaking into a Disney hotel or park may seem unthinkable today, security at Disney resorts was much looser decades ago. In the 1990s, surveillance cameras were sparse, pool areas were open-access, and security checks at hotels were far less strict than they are now.

Unlike today's system, where MagicBands, room key scans, and digital check-ins track guest activity, past security relied more on visual checks and occasional patrols, making it easier for someone to blend in. Resort pools, now gated with keycard access, were once open to anyone who wandered in.

While the claim raises questions about whether Disney security ever caught on, some former guests have shared similar stories of people overstaying their welcome at hotels, sleeping in hidden spots, or using Disney transportation without a ticket.

Could This Happen Today?

With Disney’s modern security enhancements, trying to squat at Walt Disney World now would be next to impossible. Some key security updates over the years include:

  • Surveillance Cameras Everywhere – Disney parks, resorts, and parking areas are now heavily monitored.
  • Resort Guest Verification – Pools, gyms, and lounges require room keys for entry.
  • Digital Tracking – MagicBands and mobile app check-ins make it difficult for non-guests to access hotel areas.
  • Increased Parking Enforcement – Vehicles left overnight without hotel reservations are flagged and towed.

Attempting something similar today would likely result in a swift trespassing charge and a ban from Disney property.

Fact or Fantasy?

As with many viral TikTok confessions, some users remain skeptical of @Mt.Buzz12’s claims. While it's possible someone could have temporarily evaded detection in the 1990s, living at Disney for a full month without being noticed seems far-fetched—especially while carrying illegal substances.

Regardless of whether the story is fact or fiction, it serves as a fascinating look back at a time when Disney’s security wasn’t as sophisticated as it is today. What do you think? Could someone have actually pulled this off? Let us know in the comments!
