Recently, a couple explained that the behavior of some adults at Disney World made parts of the experience “legitimately disgusting and cringe-worthy.”
Going to either the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort is one of the best ways in the world to enjoy the Disney experience. From the incredible Disney Park attractions at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom to the wonderful lands on offer, there’s a lot to love.
However, one point of note is that there’s one aspect of Disney that is out of the Mouse House’s control that impacts the Disney experience as well: guest behavior. And per a recent report, that specific element was less than satisfactory.

One guest took to Reddit to share their experience while at Walt Disney World. The guest explained he went to Disney with his wife, and they purchased a Park Hopper ticket and had a wonderful time, with one exception.
The guest wrote, “Can I just say that some of the adults at WDW make it a legitimately disgusting/cringe-worthy experience? We were in Guardians, and when Terry Crews is asking what to call the “Epcot-ians”, some loud woman in the back yells “Day-drinkers!” in front of all the kids. Look, I get it, Disney should be fun for everyone, but you need to get a grip. It’s a little ridiculous watching people do shit like that and then also SPRINT/push the kids out of the way to get to the next door, as if everyone in the room somehow isn’t going to get on the ride.”
It’s unfortunately entirely unsurprising to hear of this happening at the Central Florida Disney Park, considering any of the stories we at Disney Fanatic have reported on ourselves. While most guests are typically cordial and courteous toward other guests, there are a few choice individuals who seem to ruin the experience for most others.
Fellow guests were largely sympathetic to the OP. One commented on the subject of Disney adults running to the next door, “It’s so weird. What, you buy maybe, 30 seconds in the queue by doing that? And the funny thing is, the way they divide you in the queue, it could very well not matter, sometimes you get put in the longer line, sometimes the shorter line. There’s literally no discernible time difference if you shove your way through that door or not, everybody in that room is getting a ride within the same 5 minutes give or take.”

Others commented on EPCOT drinking culture, adding, “I find the obsession some people have with Epcot drinking oddly immature. Hasn’t the novelty of legal drinking worn off for most adults by age…22? Yes, yes, we can all buy and have drinks, we get it! IMO, people need to explore their closest downtown areas much more if they are so taken with the ability of being able to walk to multiple bars/restaurants and drink.”
Needless to say, when on a Disney vacation, acting entitled or disruptive is not the move, and it’s important to be considerate of the other guests at any Disney theme park with you.

Adults are NOT the problem it’s the TORISTS who come to the parks and think they are the only people there unruly kids yelling screaming crying double wide strollers butting in line yo can’t even eat at a nice restaurant du to the nose from kids not being made to sit eat and be quiet not running all over the restaurant cussing fighting being nasty to cast members you act like you own the parks and you are gong to HAVE A GOOD TIME no matter what jumping of the bridge at Epcot or out of boats on rides that stop for a short time!!! Stay in you own state
