One Walt Disney World staple has officially closed forever.
Closures are inevitable and are part of the Disney experience. While all fans are understandably upset when one of their favorites shuts shop for good, there are myriad reasons why a ride, attraction, restaurant, or store has to close its doors. When Splash Mountain closed at Walt Disney World earlier this year and Disneyland Resort more recently, many mourned the final days of the beloved ride while also celebrating what was to come in its place—Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Disney Springs at Walt Disney World
While Disney World’s theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and more, are undoubtedly some of the best parts of a Walt Disney World vacation, there is one area of the Disney Resort that doesn’t need ticketed entry: Disney Springs. The dining and shopping district, sister to Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort, is a magical place for Guests to spend their time and enjoy some good retail therapy.
However, as of two days ago, one store at Disney Springs has shut shop for good.
Everything but Water, the ultimate destination for the fashionistas in the Disney fandom, shut shop on July 19. It is the next in a long list of closures this year that have hit the Disney Springs shopping district. Previously, we reported that Melissa’s Shoes and the UGG store at Disney Springs were closing.
Disney described the store as one where Guests could “Dip into a beach-chic atmosphere for an unparalleled selection of women’s designer swimwear, resort wear and accessories. Fit-savvy sales members will help you discover the perfect pieces to pack on your next glam getaway.”
There is presently no word on what will replace the store.
