In a shocking new report, a chemical spill at the Disneyland Resort has had disastrous consequences for two cast members.
Today, we have news of a more serious nature to report on from the Disney Parks. An overnight chemical spill at Disneyland ended up injuring one cast member and hospitalizing another. Here’s what happened at the Southern California Disney Resort.

Disneyland Suffers an Overnight Chemical Spill
As reported by The Orange County Register, “An overnight chemical spill at Disneyland that released a vapor cloud injuring one employee and hospitalizing another was cleaned up by the Anaheim Fire & Rescue Hazardous Material team.”
The report explained that “A vapor cloud of chlorine and another cleaning agent caused breathing difficulties for two Disneyland cast members.”

No visitors or guests were harmed because of this incident. As the article explains, the incident happened after Disneyland was closed for the day during the busy Christmas holiday season, and guests were no longer in the park.
The Anaheim Fire HazMat team is currently investigating the incident to work out how the spill was caused and share any relevant details with the public.

So far, we know that one cast member was treated at the Disney Park, presumably because of a lack of need for more extreme intervention, and the other injured cast member was transported to UCI Medical Center for evaluation.
