Disneyland Paris is currently celebrating its 32nd anniversary. The theme park, which opened its doors on 12 April 1992, today includes two theme parks, resort hotels, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex, and a golf course. It’s also home to seven hotels:  Disney Hotel Santa Fe, Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, Hotel New York – the Art of Marvel, The Disneyland Hotel, and Davy Crockett Ranch.

The Disney Park is also special in that it is the only one outside of the United States that is wholly owned by the Walt Disney Company.

Today, on its 32nd anniversary, Disney is announcing a whole host of exciting changes coming to the park, and in particular one theme park: Walt Disney Studios Park, has many upgrades coming its way, starting with its name.

According to social media reports, Disney has officially renamed Walt Disney Studios Park at the Parisian theme park to Disney Adventure World. This name change follows many exciting updates about the park’s expansion plan.

While this news is incredibly exciting, not all fans are impressed with the name change. One fan, in particular, called out Disney’s lack of originality.

One wrote originally in French, “Use this comment to dislike the name Nan in real life seriously? They said to themselves in all the land names we put World, in all the attraction names we put Adventure, so for the park all we have to do is add Disney at the front? I was expecting a lot more original…

Another fan was not thrilled with the changes either, but for a different reason. They wrote“The name is fine, the logo on the other hand…”

Regardless, perhaps this name change is the sign of new and good things to come for the Parisian Disney Park!

Who cares, why is Disney on a Mission to change or close so many things that we love. Stop it Disney you have ruined things for us

  2. I think Disney Parks wanted to get rid of the bad image of the so called here in France “Studio”. Which is not a bad idea. The name really sounds like it will be a brand new park. Like many others, I am not really convinced by the new name. It sounds too much like a Universal Park for me
