As people across the world tune in on December 31 for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, they will find part of that celebration will be going down at the Disneyland Resort in California. Along with performances by Halle Bailey and other celebrities in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, some sneak peeks of upcoming shows will also be shown during the night.
Disney Parks Blog states,
“This year’s broadcast includes a special celebration from the Disneyland Resort for the first time ever, plus a sneak peek at “World of Color – ONE,” just one of two nighttime spectaculars and more special offerings debuting at Disneyland Resort on January 27 in celebration of the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary…
…The Disneyland segments are pre-taped prior to the New Year’s holiday. Stars taking the stage to perform at the Disneyland Resort include Ciara, Fitz & The Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Shaggy, Ben Platt, Aly & AJ, Halle Bailey, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Bailey Zimmerman and Lauren Spencer Smith.”

Disney Parks the world over are popular places to ring in the new year, with a mini global celebration celebrated around World Showcase at EPCOT. Guests celebrating at the Happiest Place on Earth will be able to count down to a very special fireworks display over Disneyland Park four hours after the iconic ball drops in Times Square, New York City. Remember that Theme Park Reservations are required to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure for New Year’s Eve.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest will be aired on Disney-owned ABC and run until 2 am ET on January 1, 2023.
