The final days of 2022 are counting down, and Disney Parks are beginning to prepare for the New Year’s Eve celebration.

The sun never sets on a Disney Park or Resort, with Tokyo Disney Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Aulani Resort counting down to 2023 in that order.

Each Theme Park and Resort will have their own special celebrations planned, and today, we got a look at some of the preparations underway at Disneyland Paris Resort.

Disneyland Paris Insider, @DLPReport, shared some pictures on Twitter, saying,

“Preparations continue for the New Years Eve Party with AV equipment and stages sprinkled around the lands:”

Special light and sound displays can be scene being installed around Sleeping Beauty Castle, Fantasyland, and Frontierland.

Disneyland Paris Resort, and its Theme Parks Parc Disneyland, and Walt Disney Studios Park, will be ringing in the new year six hours before the Walt Disney World Resort. They will have a New Year’s Eve Party lasting from 8 pm – 2 am local time with special character-led parties, a dance party in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, and a special fireworks display called “The Sparkling WISHES of Disney New Year’s Eve.”

Disneyland Paris’ website describes its New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular as the following:

“Make your first wish of the New Year as a breathtaking fireworks display fills the night sky with colourful bursts of magic in a remastered version of “The Sparkling WISHES of Disney New Year’s Eve” show. As the clock counts down to midnight, a festive ballet under the stars adds even more magic to this enchanting show, a moment to share with friends and family that you’ll cherish forever!”
