When people think about their Walt Disney World vacation, a lot of exciting experiences come to mind. They might imagine watching the fireworks at Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom, spending a sunny day at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, or sampling delicious food and drinks as they explore the World Showcase pavilions at EPCOT.
What most people don’t expect, however, is to find themselves asking the police to arrest them.

However, according to a recently released police report, that is exactly what happened when one guest visited Disney Springs.
On September 28, 2023, Marta Kaiser created a notable public disturbance at Disney Springs, a popular shopping and dining destination within the Walt Disney World Resort.
Reports indicate that Kaiser, a 46-year-old resident of Lake Worth, exhibited increasingly disruptive behavior, prompting concern among bystanders. Witnesses noted that Kaiser appeared intoxicated, having allegedly fallen into a planter and verbally disturbing other guests. This alarming behavior led to a call from Disney World security to law enforcement officers, asking for assistance.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office encountered various accounts detailing Kaiser’s erratic conduct. Witness statements described her as being aggressive and unsteady on her feet, with one report noting that her eyes appeared glassy and she was slurring her speech.
She also reportedly was so drunk that she could not stand up straight and fell into a planter, getting a cut on her elbow.
Unfortunately, when the officers tried to help her, she became angry and began screaming.
We stopped near the Coca-Cola store on the property and requested the District Fire Department to respond to evaluate and treat Ms. Kaiser for a laceration to her right elbow. Further attempts were made to get Ms. Kaiser a ride away from the property and a medical evaluation.
Ms. Kaiser, again, was verbally combative and began to swear profanities at staff and firefighters on site, attempting to render aid.

The responding law enforcement officers documented several observations regarding Ms. Kaiser. At the time of their arrival, she smelled strongly of alcohol and demonstrated physical signs of intoxication. According to the arrest report, Kaiser was not only verbally combative but also involved in disputes with both patrons and staff, complicating the officers’ efforts to manage the situation.
Although the deputies initially sought to escort Kaiser from the area for her safety, their attempts were met with resistance. Kaiser reportedly became increasingly provocative, repeatedly shouting, “F*** you, take me to jail. I want to go to jail,” which ultimately culminated in her arrest for disorderly intoxication.
Following her arrest, Kaiser was taken into custody and charged with disorderly intoxication, a misdemeanor. However, the legal proceedings took an unexpected turn when, on October 21, the State Attorney’s Office decided to decline prosecution of the charges.
Despite facing no legal consequences, Ms. Kaiser received a trespass notice from Disney and is banned from returning in the future.
Do you think the prosecutor should have dropped the charges against Ms. Kaiser? Or should she be held responsible for her actions? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
Why were they dropped so she can go back & do it again, that’s the problem with our system.
