2023 saw a revitalization of the Disney Parks after former Disney CEO Bob Chapek’s era. During Chapek’s time as the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, many Disney fans expressed frustration at the rising Park prices without a commensurate increase in the quality of the Disney Park experience. Many fans even went so far as to say they would be boycotting Disney—though part of that came after the Walt Disney Company spoke out about the “Don’t Say Gay” law and on the back of much criticism levied at the Mouse House for its alleged “woke” ideology and “pandering to woke audiences.”
However, 2023 saw the return of many perks for Disney Guests. Free parking returned to Disney hotels, along with free ride photos for some Guests.
Now, Annual Passholders get a brand new perk, a new limited-time experience i.e., a lounge for Annual Passholders has opened inside The Land Pavilion as part of Disney World’s V.I.Passholder Days. It’s located at Sunshine Seasons next to Living with the Land.
As Dr. Lynda Barnes shared on Twitter, the lounge is a “quiet and cool spot” for Walt Disney World Annual Pass holders to take a break.

There are also phone charging areas and lockers inside the lounge. The lounge is only open until June 30 this year and will be open from Park open until Park closes. This is the latest in the set of announcements of perks for Annual Passholders, including the new Figment magnet we recently reported on.
